We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Del Sol! The house is set up well for our group of 6. The house was very clean, pool was spotless and the floating dock was perfect for our larger 30ft center console. The kitchen was outfitted with all cookware and utensils needed. The host contacted me while on my way to the residence to give me all information needed for our stay.We couldn't have been happier with the residence and the host. If you have a boat you're bringing we highly suggest Casa Del Sol. We've made this trip for scalloping 3 years now and not having to launch the boat every boat day was a major plus. The residence is at the very back of a small inlet which stays very calm and plenty far enough away from boat wakes.We talked to multiple neighbors who we encountered walking the neighborhood and all were very nice.Thank you for helping make our vacation even better!

Such a comfortable place that felt like home within moments of getting there! Home had everything we could possibly want and the owner was super quick to check in with us and respond to anything we needed. Would stay there again! Loved the boat dock, river access and view!

Great waterfront home

Was super clean and very comfortable. We saw dolphins, manatees and an alligator off the dock. The enclosed pool was great. Overall one of the more comfortable homes I have stayed in. Very well appointed.

Making memories

Every year, we take a family vacation over Memorial Day weekend in CR, this was our first time staying in this home. It offered a lovely setting alongside beautiful scenery.This vacation felt well-deserved after the kids had a great year at school and provided us with valuable time to relax and bond as a family. We look forward to creating many more memories during future stays.

Grown sib reunion

Every year the grown sibling's get together with their spouse for a vacation. This home was perfect. We had our own boat and the dock was excellent. The kitchen had everything you need. We had a great time here.boat the the dock was excellent.

Cozy Home

Very nice clean home, nice views of a channel! Even saw an alligator! We really enjoyed the beautiful updated kitchen and the pool. Great location, easy to get to all attractions

Great stay in Crystal River

Cosa Del Sol is a great house in a quiet neighborhood. The house was well equipt. Teri was quick to answer any questions or concerns. We paddled to Three Sister's Springs and saw several manatees. We also had some manatees around our dock a few days. The grandkids enjoyed the playground at Kings Bay Park, and Fort Island Beach. We also explored some nearby hiking trails.

Scallop Trip 2023

Nice House on canal near river, House smelled clean upon arrival and Pool was crystal clear. Were a couple of issues, Front doorknob was broken, and house had a roach issue. Also watch dog neighbor filed an unwarranted complaint. Will be looking for another Location for next year's trip.

Excellent vacation home!

Our family really enjoyed staying at Teri’s home. It was beautiful and conveniently located. It also had everything that we needed. We have stayed in many over the years but this one was a “step above”. We will definitely be back!!!

Very spacious, clean and view of the sunset!

We had a two family gathering, plenty of space for all. Kitchen fully stocked with anything we needed. House, pool, hot tub and outdoor dock is very clean. Fishing was awesome! We caught numerous fish, shark and we even saw two manatee. Host was very prompt in responding to questions prior to booking and very gracious when I asked to be accommodated for an item. We loved our stay and hope to return soon!

Great vacation!

A wonderful time was had by the entire family. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock every day. The house comes very well stocked with soap, paper towels, toilet paper, beach towels etc. the pictures online do not do the house justice. It is just lovely. We saw manatees almost every day off the dock and even caught some crabs. I would definitely recommend this house and plan to book here again in the future. Host was very responsive!

Casa Del Sol is Very much like home! We had a fantastic time at this lovely place! It's very quiet & pet friendly neighborhood in beautiful location. The home had everything you need. Beautiful and spacious fully equipped kitchen, lovely bedrooms & bathrooms, very clean with welcoming decorations. Screened in lanai, pool, hot tub, boat dock and kayaks. You name it! Our family went kayaking, boating, fishing and swimming with so many manatees. We had an amazing time and I would highly recommend this lovely place to our friends and family! Thank you for sharing Casa del Sol with us! :)

Wonderful property

We are a family of 4, kids 10 & 12 who stayed at the house over spring break. I was so impressed with the house. Everything you can imagine was available. Tons of bath towels, beach towels, kitchen items, toilet paper, paper towel, coffee, laundry detergent, etc. Great neighborhood & location! We used the kayaks to find manatee, fished off the dock & caught lots of catfish, swam & used the hot tub. My husband had to work one of the days, Wi-Fi was excellent & so was cell service. House was very clean upon arrival. We also spent a day at Busch Gardens & another on a fishing charter. So much fun! My only “con” is the squeaky twin beds off the master. My kids slept in there & every time they moved the squeaky beds would wake me up. In hind sight, I should have just moved them to one of the other bedrooms! Highly recommend this house!

Casa del Sol - Perfect home, perfect location, perfect vacation!

Casa del Sol was the perfect home, in the perfect location, for my husband and I to enjoy three weeks of bliss in Crystal River! The neighborhood was very quiet and incredibly beautiful! The home had every amenity available one could ever need! While it was too cool to take a dip in the pool, we thoroughly enjoyed the screened in lanai, hot tub, boat dock, gas grill and kayaks. If we could rate this home 10 stars, we would! The owners were absolutely amazing, responding almost immediately to our every question! When the refrigerator stopped working, they made another refrigerator available to us within the hour and arranged to have a brand new refrigerator delivered and installed the very next day! A miraculous feat to accomplish, we don’t know how owner Teri managed to pull that one off! Swimming with the manatees was truly the highlight of our trip! We loved it so much, we went three times. We highly recommend taking a semi-private or private tour to swim with those magnificent creatures. Our favorite company was Fun2Dive. There are so many things to do in the Crystal River area. We hiked, biked, kayaked, bird-watched, took an airboat ride and enjoyed watching the sunset at the Fort Island Trail Beach. There are so many wonderful parks and trails in the area, get outside and enjoy them all. Be sure to visit Three Sisters Springs and Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. For day trips, Busch Gardens and the Tampa Zoo were well worth the trips. If you enjoy fishing, we highly recommend a trip to the quaint fishing village of Cedar Key. We ate our weight in seafood during our vacation. Some of our favorites were Seafood Sellers, The Plant (loved their red royal shrimp and key lime pie), and The Freezer (hole in the wall place but incredible clam chowder and boiled shrimp). Thank you for sharing Casa del Sol with us! It was our best VRBO experience to date and we have stayed in a lot of different homes the past few years!

Beautiful house, great location for an extended family Thanksgiving

Casa del Sol is a lovely house situated directly on the water in a dog-friendly neighborhood, perfect for a large group that does not mind sharing bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked for meals in, including Thanksgiving (which we purchased pre-cooked from Publix), and the local restaurants we sampled were very good. We used the kayaks one day and rented a pontoon boat on another and drove it right up to the dock before heading out on the river for fishing, where we caught snapper and snook - our son also fished directly from the dock for hours, catching a bunch of catfish. We saw many manatees and a large variety of birds, both in the river and at Three Sisters Springs. I would not hesitate to visit again!

Great River access

This location is prime with respect to River access for boating. The property is clean and excellent for entertaining. The property owners are courteous and helpful. The dock is a floating type which is great for mooring your boat. You don’t have to worry about dock lines due to tide change.
