The property grounds are beautiful, the rooms are a little outdated. I also booked a room for 5 and it said it slept 5 but there were just two full size beds and a chair that did not recline so we had to go buy an air mattress. There is still A LOT of hurricane damage, and the only building in use is the one furthest from the lobby. The included breakfast was pastries, cereal, oatmeal and bagels/bread. No fruit or protein. For the price we paid I’d consider staying here again, there was nothing bad about the stay, just very average. Nothing that wowed me except for the potential the grounds had. There are so many amazing things they could do with it, it truly is a diamond in the rough, hopefully they can polish it up!

Beautiful property. It is undergoing remodeling but they did a good job of keeping that seperate from rooms.Rooms were clean.

Parking was easy, and the room was clean but we couldnt adjust the thermostat so it was a bit warm at first. We were aware of the renovations but our TV was out which we not advised about. The walls are incredibly thin. You can hear your neighbor as if they were in the same room. The voices in the hallway carry, too. The view of the canal and river are lovely.

This hotel was ok. Pros- bed/bedding was comfortable, free parking, pool temp was perfect. Cons- Room said sleeps 5 so I thought there would be a pullout couch but there were just 2 full beds. There's 1 chair so it's hard for a family to hang out in the room. Towels are not at the pool and there isn't a bathroom at the pool. The continental breakfast doesn't have any hot food. The TVs didn't work and mini fridge was very loud. Also, not sure if this is an expedia issue but I booked 2 rooms at the same time but we ended up in rooms at different ends of the building, again, hard for family to hang out in the hotel which was the main point of our trip.

We checked in super late and the staff called to make sure we were still coming and ensured we had a smooth check in. The resort was beautiful and clean. The continental breakfast had a lot of options. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time to explore the property but the parts we did see were absolutely stunning and if we are ever in the area again we will be staying here.

We stayed in a renovated room and had a very pleasant stay. Parking is easy and the staff are very nice!

WiFi didn’t work on tv… called several times, but never got resolved. Property under a lot of construction from hurricane damage. Bar grill not open… Rooms were clean and staff was friendly… just bad timing. Would go back if everything was fixed and restored.

This place is being restored after a 2024 hurricane. It is ok to stay at however its lack luster. If you have a hart like me and route for the underdog its for you but if not look elsewhere.

When we arrived we were informed that they were renovating the facility. We were told they were replacing windows and that the crews would start at 8 am. We were then informed that the restaurant and bar were closed. They did start replacing windows the next day and were banging and making a LOT of noise with drills. We opened the back door to our room to get fresh air. My sister had her service dog with her and the dog would bark when they were banging and making noise drilling. She barked maybe 6 times. We received a call from the front desk asking about the dog. My sister informed them she is a service animal and offered to bring her service animal paperwork for them to see. They said that wasn't necessary. We were booked in to the hotel for 2 nights. On the second day (my sister's birthday) the management called me and told me we were being evicted because the dog was barking. I explained the dog barked because of the banging and drilling from the window replacement. The management did NOT care and they actually kicked us out of the hotel. I told the front desk I wanted a FULL refund for the night we were missing. They said they would refund Expedia and I would need to get my refund from Expedia. We had to change hotels and pay $356 for the night of my sister's birthday. All in all this was a terrible experience!!!

It's trying!!!! It looks like it truly has seen better days but, it was a last minute decision for us as we traveled through the area. The price was very good and at one time, the property must have really been beautiful. Unfortunately, the buildings are out dated, and the construction is also. When I say, they are trying, it's because you can tell that they are trying to spruce the place up. New flooring, new windows (in some areas). The hotel itself is multiple buildings and they only had one that they are using at this time. Everything in the common areas was dirty. Stains in the main hallway that could have easily been mopped up but were there when we checked in and there when we checked out. The sound echoed throughout the rooms and hallways. You could hear the people talking in the room next door, toilets flushing, etc. No modern features for electronics like USB ports in the plugs or lights. The room we had, did not have new windows and there was mold all over the outside of them. I was told by a neighboring business that they hotel was recently sold to a major chain and they will be coming in and redoing the entire thing. If that is true, they will have one absolutely stunning property
