This property has a nice setup with spacious living quarters and a functional outdoor area including a private dock for launching kayaks or fishing. We saw multiple examples of sea life that our kids loved, perhaps too early in the season for manatee however. Included fishing gear, was adequate some needing some maintenance, but overall appreciated and added to our experience. Kayaks were in good shape and were the highlight of our trip (note they carry an additional fee from the rental); included life vests were appreciated. Kids had fun in the small pool - we did not pay the extra fee for heating in mid-Oct. The outdoor spaces could use some upkeep and some of the outdoor furniture is in need of repair/replacement. On arrival the floors were in need of a wet mopping and the refrigerator needed to be cleaned, but otherwise the indoor spaces were relatively clean. We tend to use the kitchen pretty heavily for meal prep, though in this case the kitchen was not stocked well-enough to prepare 3 meals/day for a group of 8 or 10. We rent often in a variety of places but this is the first rental where we've been asked to clean the floors and wash and dry towels prior to check-out. The rental company portal was convenient and easy to use, though there were numerous add-on charges for things that in many places are included in the rental fee. The owner was easy to reach and helpful. We were lucky to catch the scarecrow festival. Overall, we enjoyed our time here.
