This is a really special place. My husband and I have stayed at The Barn in Crozet a number of times. It really feels like a home away from home. It’s very quiet and peaceful and the hosts are amazing and very supportive and attentive. It is always super clean and everything you need to feel at home is provided for your stay. It’s a lovely cozy retreat close to wineries and also close to Charlottesville. Also most people might not know or mention this is other reviews, but there is a wonderful hiking park about 20 minutes from here through the Virginia backroads out of Crozet. It’s called Patricia Ann Byrom Forest Preserve Park and it has some lovely trails and it is so quiet and also has a creek running through it. It’s open all year round — but it does have somewhat of a grade. So it is a hiking trail more then a leisurely walk. But it’s beautiful at the peak. I would stay here again and again as it’s a perfect little home away from home.

Loved this rental! Very nicely decorated and great location. Several stairs to get to apartment above the garage. Ideal for one couple and one other adult or two children as the murphy bed is full size mattress (small space). Nice bathroom with walk-in shower. Big kitchen - fully stocked. Very clean!

Perfect spot!

The Barn is just lovely! The home is perfectly equipped and in a very central location. There were lots of thoughtful touches added to the space and it was a perfect location for hiking and enjoying local wineries. Would love to return! Thank you!

Fantastic!

Dawn and Damond have done an amazing job of making their place truly feel like home. This was one of the most comfortable and well designed properties we have ever rented. It was also so clean and well stocked with everything you could need for a home. The location to wineries, breweries, restaurants and groceries was ideal. Communication with the hosts was easy and quick and the entire process from booking to checkout was perfect! We look forward to returning!

My husband, our three month old, and I were traveling through the Charlottesville area and stayed at the barn overnight. Dawn reached out in advance to see if we needed a travel crib set up for our baby. We got in late in the evening and there was a floodlight that lit the way to the door for us. The barn was exactly what we needed. It was very clean with a freezer for breast milk, an unbelievably comfortable bed, and a shower with a tall shower head that my 6'7" husband greatly appreciated. In the morning we drove a few minutes down the road to the railroad trail to get outside before jumping back in the car for another long drive. We would absolutely want to stay at Dawn and Damond's again if we ever come back to the area!

Beautiful Apartment!

My friend and I love the Charlottesville area and have been visiting annually for many years. This is the first time we have stayed in Crozet. The Barn at Haden is so cute and cozy! It’s beautifully designed and decorated, and has all the comforts of home, and then some! Staying here made our few days that much more enjoyable!
