"We had a lovely stay, the farm is stunning, we loved the access to the gardens and watching the cows and chickens and our host Sarah was great. The only thing I would suggest would be placing a fan in the rooms as they can get really hot in the unusually warm weather"

"I was given room 3 which was average and definitely not like the advertised photos or reviews, there was not hot water which happens, I was then given an 'up grade' to an upstairs room where the shower head was broken and the electric shower when set at medium went from cold to burning on its own, clearly faulty. Bed was very comfortable but the room was dated. Unable to offer comment on the breakfast as I had to leave before it started, 8am is quite late for midweek."

"Check in was no frills. We arrived half an hour before check in and was offered a room but for an extra fee. I accidentally booked the room for one person so had to pay an extra £12 for breakfast which was fair enough but on check out an additional £10 for the extra person which I thought was unfair."

"Great location, easy to get to, great big parking, nice little village with a Chinese takeout across the street, a Coop close by. Sadly the cleanliness of the room was poor. Grime in the bathroom where floor meets walls. Very dirty remote control, some kind of sauce spilled on the side of the chest of drawers. Bed linen clean and bed comfortable. The radiator nob not functioning as it should. Should have stayed two nights but left after the first. Sorry, but proper cleaning of the room is so...

The service, mostly 20 somethings, didn’t come with much of a smile which seems normal these days unless they are well trained by the older generation who realise what service means. "Dog friendly and in good location. Very handy for one night stopover and would use again. Room could do with a bit of deep cleaning/ maintenence in some places, particularly mould around bathroom window frame. "
