"What a tasteful yet homely pub stay!
There was poor comunication between expedia and kings Head regards the number of people in our party for the room!
But staff did all in their power to compensate and make us comfortable!!
Will certainly go back and will give an excellent score.
Loved the food and everything about it!!
Only downside is - food stops at 8pm.
But they do ptovide a cold platter after this time that's delicious!

"A great atmosphere at the Tan Hill, a good crowd was in on the night that we visited. The dinner was very good and the breakfast excellent. Our room was great with a good view out over the moors. If we're ever up that way we'll definitely stay again."

All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. "
