"Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. "We had a great family getaway here! The hot tub was amazing and the views from the hot tub were perfect. What a beautiful location - quiet, peaceful and a fun space for kids to explore. We had an amazing time trekking out in the woods in the snow.Kitchen was well stocked and the treats, coffee and tea were a nice bonus. My kids enjoyed the extra games as well! Extremely quick responses from the host as well! Thanks for a good time, we are already thinking about coming back in the summer."

"The place was super easy to access and clean. We were just staying for one week night and didn't use the kitchen, so I can't speak to that. I recommend packing noise-canceling headphones for anyone who will be staying in the front bedroom (with the green carpet). Someone else in the building woke us up around 1:30am and was listening to something loud above us, so we ended up moving to the back bedroom. If you need all three bedrooms, though, you may need something to block out noise. "

"Had the best weekend skiing and enjoying family time in this amazing 3 story condo. Plenty of room for kids and grandkids to spread out. Short walk to the slopes made it so convenient for the skiers and a short ride down the mountain for the Littles in ski school. The unit was fully equipped with everything we needed. "The location was excellent, within walking distance of ski trail. Wonderful view of the ski area and surrounding mountains. The fireplace was perfect for the end of the day. Our large family had plenty of space to have fun together or chill alone. We had concerns about the cleanliness and working conditions of some electronics. Our concerns were communicated with the owner, and the response was positive. I am sure with corrections this Comfortable Berkshire Retreat will be a 5 star stay. "
