"A very special place to stay as this was the family home of Florence Nightingale. We stayed in two bedrooms which were the rooms that she grew up in before she went to Crimea. This is not a hotel. It’s more of a guest house with a few of the rooms rented out on a nightly basis. The property is accessed through several gates so it’s on very private land. The views are amazing of the local countryside and there’s a very beautiful garden around the house and sheep in the fields a little further...

"Lovely quirky place, close to the local amenities! Everything was catered for and a welcome gift greeted us on arrival. The secluded garden was a little treat to relax in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking outside and on the street! Will definitely come back!"

"Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There was a glitch in the admin system which meant it thought I hadn't paid, paid again and then got to room, checked and went back to rectify and said it could take up to 6 days to refund. The room was boiling even though there was a fan in the room, they had no extra fans to help with the warmth which was nearly unbearable on day 1. The room was for 3 people but only set up for 2. "I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back."
