Solo retreat

Loved my stay at The Croftville Cottages. Wonderful view of the lake, charming, I’d stay again for the number of hooks alone - Thank you! The fire wood set up is extremely convenient. Great place to unwind and enjoy the North Shore.

Hiking trip to Grand Marais

Property was great. We cooked our meals and relaxed after our daily hikes to pin cushion and overlook mountains as well as grand portage. Lovely place on Lake Superior.

Stay on Lake Superior in Grand Marais

We had a wonderful time. The location was beautiful. Everything is high-quality and tastefully done. The location is great! Grand Marais is a beautiful town. We hiked Pincushion Mountain and went a few other state parks to check out the many waterfalls (stunning). We did lots of hiking and enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!!!

Cozy lakeside vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was lovely, the view to the lake was great, the in floor heat was nice, the jacuzzi tub was perfect after a day out x-country skiing, and the wood burning fireplace was exactly what was ordered for cold winter nights. Exactly what we had hoped to have for our week away.

Great Location

Wonderful property about 2 miles outside Grand Marais. Nice space. Well appointed. Located directly on Lake Superior. The main building has multiple units. Not very sound proof.

Excellent Accommodations

I think it was below zero most of our two night stay, but with the in floor heat, fireplace (with dry wood and fire starters!) and nice hot shower, we were so comfortable! Nothing like having a glass of wine by the fire and looking out at Lake Superior which is literally in your backyard. We will definitely be back.

Great getaway

We were looking for a chance to get up to the North Shore and get away from the craziness of the pandemic, and this was perfect! We were able to get our keys without contact and the space was very clean and well-kept. We loved the fireplace and being able to have a fire going while we were watching movies or streaming the shows we were behind on. The full kitchen was great and allowed us to cook our own meals. The view of Lake Superior was stunning and was great to wake up to. Highly recommended!

Excellent working-vacation in a great place!

Change of scenery amidst COVID-19; had a few days away to work and enjoy a beautiful place. Crisp mornings and perfect fall afternoons. Weather was beautiful when twin cities weather was cold and rainy. Cozy place with windows cracked to hear waves on shoreline just outside the door while a fire warms us. Croftville mile and a half road provides a popular walk that shows cute cottage after cottage. Fall colors and flowers abound.

Perfect for a couple!

Beautiful views of the lake. Cold, rainy and windy but the heated floor and fireplace kept us cozy and warm. Very close to Grand Marais. We had a great time. Thank you !

Wonderful Grand Marais Getaway

Mike and Teresa provided a wonderful, serene getaway on the shore of Lake Superior. Cottage was clean, beautiful, and well setup. Highly recommend staying here.

Great Spot

We had a great time here! It was so nice to see the sunset over the lake right outside our window. We could hear the little Lake Superior waves crashing and star gazing was incredible.

Celebrating the new year

We lucked out when we found the Inn had rooms when we decided to go north at the last minute. This was our first time staying here and we are glad that we were able to stay at this suite. We enjoyed using all of the amenities including the full kitchen, the fireplace, and spa tub. The waves lulled us to sleep each night. Thank you! Sherri and Dan
