"I love the Wee Cottage! My husband joined me for the first 4 days and I stayed for another 10. The cottage is SO cute and just what everyone wants for a writer's retreat! My husband and I did the Duff House walk & Banff history walk (there is a WalkHighlands website that has a ton of walks). "Gardenstown is a sweet little village on the coast about one hour north of Aberdeen. The house is located perfectly with an amazing view to the ocean directly out of the kitchen window. "Gardenstown ist wirklich wunderschön und das Haus ist ganz nah am Meer, gemütlich, sauber und sinnvoll aufgeteilt.Es ist ziemlich dunkel im Haus und der Meerblick ist auch nur eingeschränkt zu geniessen, weil das Haus in 2. Reihe steht. Von der auf den Fotos zu sehenden Terrasse sieht man das Meer so gut wie nicht. Es war aber wirklich schön, dort Urlaub zu machen."

"Everything was great! Very cool property on the garden center grounds, super nice, friendly and helpful property manager. Very comfortable beds/living spaces was full kitchen and laundry appliances. The property was about 5 miles outside of town so not super walkable but an easy drive to the beach and town center. Would recommend for some peace and quiet! Would stay again no question. "

"An excellent glamping site with a chilled atmosphere and lovely landscape. We stayed in the Wheelhouse which is perfect for 2. It was rustic with nice basic facilities. The wee on site shop had ample supplies (bring cash for it). The area was lovely to walk around and we enjoyed the fishing hut community hub. We enjoyed our stay and loved the quirky site. Would definitely come back. "

"A good start for a recent refurbishment. No doubt seating for the sun room and outside furniture will be available in due course which will certainly enhance the property. Garden furniture would improve residents stay given the beautiful surroundings. Lack of storage upstairs and sufficient seating and crockery we feel is not adequate for 8 people. We felt it was a lovely property more suited to perhaps 6 people than 8. We had a lovely stay."
