One of the most wonderful stays we’ve had! The place was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. The location was amazing — convenient and close to everything we needed. It truly had everything you could possibly need during your stay, which made it feel comfortable and effortless from the moment we arrived. You can tell a lot of thought and care went into making guests feel at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The cabin was clean, the beds were comfortable, the pool table and dartboard were great. Location was excellent as it was only a half mile walk to the market and shopping area. Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Even better than the photo’s! At the last minute i decided to book through Expedia/Vrbo and i’m so glad i did. Originally i was going to book an Air b&b and decided to go with this property instead. We had never been to lake Gregory and was amazed at how close it is to the lake and the path that circles the lake. Easy check in. Please be aware if you have a difficult time with stairs there is a railing to hold on to. From the moment we got there we were amazed at how organized everything was and how immaculate it was. The deck overlooks the pines & is large enough to cook on the grill and there is a large table and chairs for dinner and conversation. There are plenty of board games to entertain yourself! The first bedroom to your right has bunk beds and the bathroom separated another full/queen bedroom to your left. Downstairs is a very cool game room with a tv with speakers along with a beautiful pool table and darts that we had a really great time playing! Suggestion is to replace some of the darts. There is also the washer and dryer there. The sliding glass door opens for ventilation. The 3rd bedroom is on the top level with bathroom. It was an incredibly peaceful experience and we will definitely book again and again. If we could have stayed longer we would have so do not second guess scheduling a longer stay. My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower upstairs is weak. I suggest taking a shower downstairs. Lovely experience! Book!

The cabin was exactly as advertised and depicted on the website. The location was excellent, situated close to the lake and other businesses. Additionally, the rental went above and beyond my expectations with the provision of extra amenities. I would absolutely book again for my next trip.

The home is as advertised, comfortable living space and beds. The large windows give the feeling of being in a tree house. Kitchen had everything needed to cook. I would suggest to bring additional spices for more custom flavors. Home is close to lake, easy walking distance. I would stay here again:)

Mountain Getaway

Loved everything! Best kitchen to make a large Thanksgiving meal in, they had everything and more that I needed. Beautiful view, large windows, tree view, and fireplace. All within a great location too!

Great little house, loved the deck and open floor plan. Teens loved the game room. The wife is generally pretty critical of cleanliness, and she was happy with everything. No complaints, my family of 6 had a wonderful time and enjoyed the area as well as the house. We would stay here again for sure.

We spent the past weekend at the 'Enchanting Lake Retreat,' and it was an absolutely perfect stay. My father, who is in his mid-70s, loved it so much that he specifically asked me to leave a glowing review. The cabin looks exactly like the photos—clean, cozy, and welcoming. The high ceilings and massive windows look out onto tall, majestic trees, made us feel as if we were secluded in the middle of a beautiful forest. It was incredibly healing. Both the A/C and heater worked perfectly, and the newly renovated deck was a wonderful spot to relax. We were especially impressed by the quality of the furniture. The mattresses and sofas were firm, supportive, and in pristine condition—no sagging at all, which was great for my father’s back. The host was wonderful—their follow-up messages and responses were prompt and helpful. The Wi-Fi was fast, there was a great variety of board games, and the pool table on the first floor kept us entertained the entire time. It's just a 5 minute walk to Lake Gregory. We enjoyed walking the beautiful 2.5-mile loop trail around the lake. Our only regret is that our stay was too short. We are already planning to take a longer vacation in the future to come back and stay here again. Thank you for hosting our unforgettable family trip!

Warm and inviting

Had a great long weekend with the family. So much space to lounge together. Loved the open concept of the living space, it kept us all close but also gave us personal space. Loved that there was ice ready to use in the freezer and we made good use of the kitchen. Loved it all.

Quiet and comfortable.

This lovely cabin is situated on a tree-covered lot. Although it is an older home, it is well-appointed, comfortable, and quite charming. While there are other homes nearby, the evergreen trees surrounding the cabin create a sense of seclusion. If you are looking for a peaceful mountain getaway, this is an excellent option.

The house was exactly as advertised. Newly refurbished. It was very clean and very spacious. The only negative was that the AC was set to 78 non stop and it was very warm at nights. It would have been nice if we could have adjusted the temp a little bit to make it more comfortable during those hot summer temps. very nice amenities with the Pool Table and Darts.

Frustrating

Could not take a shower in the upstairs bathroom due to no hot water. Sound bar kept turning off. Had a difficult time keeping fire lit in the fireplace. And stairs leading down to third level is way too steep.
