Just as great the second time
We had stayed in this condo two years ago and when looking for a family ski vacation decided to return to what we knew and loved. The location to the slopes and village just can’t be beat. The condo is roomy, homey and the beds are so comfortable.

Great place
We rented this condo for our pastor for our daughter's wedding. Although I didn't personally see it, they had nothing but great things to say about their stay! The communication with the owner was great! Based on all the praise, we would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks you!

Great location on the ski hill
If you want ski in / ski out this places fits the bill. Nothing fancy but everything worked and you were 30 ft from the slopes.

Nice unit with great location
Overall very good. I could make a few constructive suggestions. The knifes in the kitchen were so dull they were almost useless. The pillows could be a lot better without much cost. We enjoyed our stay overall and would definitely come back again.

Thanks for letting me know, Stephen! Those pillows are brand new at the beginning of the season, so I'm sorry they weren't comfortable for you, but I will investigate. We also sharpen all of our knives at the beginning of the season as well as provide a knife sharpener

Top notch location
This is a great condo with an unbelievable location. You are on and off the slopes within just a few steps. It's adequately stocked and comfortable with a large storage/ski space at the entrance, plus laundry. We loved the hot tub and you can't beat the view! But it is very small, especially the upstairs and bathrooms, and pretty tight for our family of 5. The spiral stairs are treacherous as are the stairs from the parking up to the condo when snowing and when hauling bags. It's worth it for the location for sure, but I was not necessarily expecting the size/stair challenges from looking at the listing.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review and I'm so glad you enjoyed the condo! The condo is a smaller 2 bedroom condo, just under 1000 square feet but can adequately fit 6 adults. The pictures for the listing were taken in the fall of 2022 and I believe accurately represent the condo. I would also add the staircase has passed the safety inspection from Mt. Crested Butte and although it's spiral is safe and study

Great Ski in/Ski out
A true ski in/ski out area. Fantastic communication with owners. Very clean. The only critique I have would be to add blinds to the 2nd bedroom. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. With 4 people staying, we all had hot showers without having to space them out. There was plenty of room to get ready to hit the slopes & remove gear when done for the day in the foyer; including hooks for jackets/pants, ski racks and a large bench. I will absolutely stay at this location again on my next trip to the area.

Amazing!
Everything about our stay was amazing! Communication with the owners was great from the start. The location was truly incredible, just doors from the slopes. We will most definitely rebook for our next trip to Crested Butte.

Ski to front door
We rented the condo for a long ski weekend. The location couldn’t be better, truly ski in and out. Condo had everything we needed and we enjoyed our time greatly. Wendy was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. Hope to go back.

Fantastic Ski In/Out
The property was exactly as advertised. The communication of James and Wendy was very prompt and accurate. Slope was, in fact, just steps from the front door. Also, the door has a keypad motorized deadbolt, so no losing the key on the slopes or worrying about who should have the key to get back first. Nice kitchen with range and full-sized fridge. Cooked most of our meals. Beds were comfortable and property very clean with washer and dryer. We look forward to staying there next ski season!

We loved our 2 week stay
Location is excellent. I love the entrance when you come in. Lots of pegs and space for hanging your stuff and a nice long bench for getting ready to ski. The kitchen, dining, living area was great. Nicely stocked (pots, utensils, dishes, etc...) It really was a great 2 weeks! Thank you!

There were only two condos closer to the ski trails than this one - the location is amazing
For skiing and boarding the convenience of this condo is amazing. As you go out the door you literally walk about thirty steps to the right and you're good to put your skis or board on and go down to the lifts. When it's time to go back to the condo you can ski right to the door. Seriously! Not kidding! The beds are all incredibly comfortable and there is a lot of extra bedding throughout the condo. Having the washer and dryer was so helpful since we could bring less with us and also so we could go home with all clean clothes. Having the two bathrooms was such a deciding factor for us when we were looking for places. There were four of us staying there and it seemed that one of the bathrooms was always in use (laundry, showers or toilets) - it was so helpful having the second one available. The downstairs shower has incredible water pressure. It was also incredibly helpful having the sink in the bedroom, as well as the one five steps away in the bathroom, when we all getting ready for bed at night. We traveled with our skis and board in travel boxes. We thought those would have been a problem to find places for in the condo, but they fit perfectly along the wall in the kitchen and also under the spiral staircase along the wall in the living area. This condo worked out perfectly for us and we loved how close it was to the slopes. One of our main goals when we were looking for a place was being able to go back to the condo for lunch, and we got to do that every day.

Deserves 6 stars!
Stayed here for a long weekend and truly loved this property. The location is very close to town, has beautiful views, and is literally right on the ski slope. Very clean, comfortable bed, nice fireplace, wonderful little patio. The host was very responsive and wonderful. We plan to come back!

Great location. Kind of beat up.
I'm sure this is an amazing location during ski season. We were here in September. The place was clean. The property is a bit worn and small. The checkout procedures included running the dishwasher, doing laundry and taking out the trash. Made us wonder what the cleaning fee was for.

Hi Kay, Thanks for your review! I'm sorry you misunderstood the checkout procedures! We don't ask guests to do the laundry, but do ask them to start the dishwasher and take out the trash, to help our housekeepers out, which we did after your stay. The condo was recently pained and everything is in good repair so I'm glad you enjoyed your stay

Wonderful Condo Right on the Mountain
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views of the mountain. Was a pep effect base for our adventures. One rainy morning we stayed in and the condo provided separation for the kids to play and still allow us to relax. Would definitely stay again.

The condo was perfect for our group! True ski-in ski-out which my adult kids had not experienced since their childhood and they loved it! We had one small issue that Wendy and James responded to and resolved very quickly. This is on our return list and hope to rent again next season!

First trip to Crested Butte
The condo was fantastic. It was easy to get to, easy access to the slopes and easy access to the town of Crested Butte. I thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend it to everyone I know. Thank you!

Great location - true ski in/out & close to the base
Location, location, location. Went went to Crested Butte to ski and we were not disappointed with the location of the condo. Truly a ski in/out condo. It's also less than a 5 min walk to the base where there were restaurants and some shops open (at limited capacity due to COVID). The local bus stop was equally close and it was easy to get into town and back. Both bedrooms of the condo are up a flight of corkscrew stairs. We had some difficulty getting a large suitcase up. The kitchen had all the basic necessities but not much more. We typically cook lunch and dinners and were able to make do but it's not a gourmet kitchen. We had one person in the group who didn't ski. She would have liked something a little more elegant but was satisfied with the accommodations. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.

Fantastic ski-in ski-out location
Probably the best ski-in ski-out location we've stayed in. Ski directly to the front door. Walk about 30 feet and up 3 or 4 feet elevation, then ski directly to lift. Down about three flights of stairs to get to base area with restaurants etc. Extremely easy to drop in for lunch or a break, and I loved ending a hard day right back at the front door. Washer/Dryer (a priority for us) Functioning gas fireplace Very fast communication from Wendy with any questions/requests Well stocked with towels, soap, laundry detergent, etc. Hot tub was closed (I assume due to Covid), but check if that's important to you (again fast communication, so you'll get an answer). The place was very comfortable for our family of 4. We didn't use the pull out bed in living room. It's not geared for a crowd -- washer/dryer is small, water heater 40 gallons, etc. It's not a fancy place either, but overall I very highly recommend. Kitchen had everything we needed, though we didn't do anything complicated. Also, good wifi and cable TV, but I wish I had remembered to bring my firestick or chromestick or a cable for my laptop to watch Netflix, Amazon, etc.

Comfortable, Prime Location
We really enjoyed the stay. Most important, this place is true ski in, and ski out with an easy 20 foot walk. You have to climb stairs from the parking area, but not to access the ski slopes. Can'tt beat the location near the base area. If you are a beginner skier, you' ll want to walk instead of ski out. Condo itself had everything you need and was clean and comfortable.

Great place for our family
This condo fit our family of five well. It is located on the ski hill. I loved the little deck area. The pull-out couch wasn't super comfortable, but it is after-all a pull out couch. Unfortunately, to get to the condo you have to walk up about 30 steps from the parking area. This is easy in the summer but would have been a slog in winter with ski stuff, and wouldn't work for someone with mobility issues. The manager did warn me about the stairs though. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Strong Legs
35 steps up to the level of the location of the condo then a gradual upslope to 209. 2 nice bedrooms with comfortable beds. Small adequate kitchen. Disappointed that the hot tub was closed due to COVID and evidently the gas was turned off to the fireplace. No cupboard space for food.
