Great location. Well stocked, easy ski in ski out.

We had a wonderful time at this spot. The location to the west wall lift was a short 2-3 minute walk. Which was perfect for our group of twelve (including kids). The property was well stocked, had everything we needed plus more. The beds linens were extremely comfortable. I'm always worried about hot water for a group this size, but we had unlimited hot water for showers. The shuttle picked us up right in front of the steps, which was super convenient. Our property manager contact was extremely helpful. Helped us book some restaurants and other recommendations. Would recommend and stay again. 10/10

Great Stay at the Black Bear Penthouse

The condo was fully equipped. There was plenty of room for two families. The access to the Westwall lift was so easy. Great mountain vibe and very compfortable. The bus would stop right in front of the condo for us.

Long weekend with extended family

This was the perfect set up for our family of 4, brother’s family of 5 and my in-laws. The 2 king rooms and queen room all with private baths, was great for the 3 couples. The 4 girls (ages 8-12 years) loved the large bunk room with living area. The infant stayed in the twin bedroom in a pack n play. Paige was amazing!! She helped with shuttle recommendations to and from the airport, babysitting for the infant while the rest of us skied, and where to get baby gear - pack n play, high chair, etc. We stayed Friday-Tuesday and loved the easy access to the slopes just across the street. Definitely was the best place for our crew!

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location. Beautiful views. They even gave us a welcome gift of handmade soda, pasta sauce and rum! The kids loved it and overall I would highly recommend the property.

Crested Butte

The property was wonderful and it had accommodations for our entire family of eight. The kitchen had enough plates, pots and pans for us to cook. The gift bag was very thoughtful with many good items that we used and enjoyed. The only reason I gave a 4 rating for cleanliness is because the king sheets had a rip in them on one of the beds. We would definitely come back to this property the next time we vacation in Crested Butte.

Family skiing reunion

We were 8 adults (4 couples) on this property and we all felt comfortable. We all had our own rooms and bathrooms, and the gathering areas (combined kitchen, dining, den) were spacious as well. And what beautiful views! Skiing was easy to get to with a quick walk across the street to catch the West Wall Lift. This base was easy to get to when done for the day. We actually were fitted for our ski rentals in the lobby of the Black Bear Lodge, where we could conveniently put our gear in the lockers provided us there. The free shuttle picked us up right across the street, so we could go just about anywhere without getting our car out of the basement garage. The host was very attentive, and called to check on us a couple of times that week to insure we had everything we needed (we did, as the prepared very well for their guests). I would definitely rent this place again.

Great Vacation spot!

We loved our time at the Black Bear Lodge Penthouse! We were a group of 10 (2 different families) and we had so much space! We loved the location and enjoyed the balconies in the mornings when we would drink our coffee! Thank you so much!

Beautiful Place - Cant beat the location

We are regulars to Crested Butte and have actually been looking to buy a place in Crested Butte, for some time. We booked this location not only for fun, but also to get an idea of some of the condominium styles we'd be looking to purchase. The condo is located in Crested Butte Mountain which is our preferred spot, given that we prefer to be more outdoors than in the town. Beautiful traditional log cabin feel with 180 degree views of Crested Butte mountain. We had a little bit of a hiccup on the amount of beds that were in the condo, but the property management group gave us some blow up beds to make up for the kids. Cable was out, but we weren't there to watch TV so that didn't affect our stay. We could tell that a really nice family owned the place and loved and cared for it. We had a great time and i recommend this spot to anyone.

Wonderful winter ski base

The property itself is well appointed and comfortable…great for a family and able to accommodate a large group. The multiple views are beautiful. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for a group. The covered heated garage, elevator and ski store room in the lobby made getting around with bulky ski gear so much easier than usual. Also, access to the west wall ski lift made it easy for all levels of skiers. Easy access to the town shuttle and the base would be great winter or summer. Overall well worth the money.

Location with a walk to lifts was a real plus for our group. Lots of space to both hang out as a group but also privacy with bedrooms/bath set up. Very clean, easy check-in and out. Property manager was responsive when we had issues with the wifi in the unit. Views from living room windows are wonderful.

Great Condo!

Us and 2 other families rented this CK do for 4 nights. It was the perfect location and for our family perfectly! We had a couple of questions during our stay for the property manager and she responded back very quickly. Would rent again!

Beautiful views and great skiing

We loved our stay, the penthouse is clean, the beds are very comfortable and it was a great place to ski, cook, and hang out. We would have loved the West Wall lift to be open, but I think the late snow kept some trails closed. It still wasn’t a bad walk from the place and the ski out was perfect. Thank you!!
