The home itself was nice and had everything we needed. However, there was a lot of dog hair throughout the house when we arrived, and it ended up getting all over our bags and clothes. A deeper clean between guests would make a big improvement. Overall, it is a good place and location. It just needs some TLC to make it great. We stayed here two years ago and we felt like it was in a little better condition then than now.

Beautiful Mountain View’s

Gorgeous views, full kitchen, comfortable bed, and luxury bathroom. Quiet neighborhood with a short walk to trails. Living room is comfortable and real fireplace. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Dog friendly which was a huge plus for us. Secluded and romantic stay.

Getaway in Crested Butte

The property is a great location. We were disappointed with cleanliness and didnt get a contact back regarding a few minor issues after we sent a message about them. Could use new living room furniture as it is pretty sacked out. We did enjoy the unit in spite of a few issues.

Beautiful home with stunning views

Overall it was very enjoyable. The home is perfect for a couple. The design capitalizes on the views and we love the big open floorplan. There were a couple of minor issues with maintenance (stopped up lavatory and several burned-out lamps in the vaulted ceiling) but Alpine Getaways responded quickly.

Perfect for Couples

Overall, we loved everything about the property and hope to reserve it again next summer. Only one slight bit of information was incorrect in the television instructions. The universal remote was needed for general operation (i.e. on/off, volume, etc.) however once you entered "TV" mode, the television remote was needed for navigating the channel guide.

Wow - Awesome Home

We really enjoyed the stunning views from all the rooms and large deck. The home is beautifully built and decorated and well stocked with essentials. It does have one flight of stairs to go from the living area to the bedroom which may exclude the handicap, but is fine for most renters.

mountain getaway

The property was cute- for people under 50 We didn't enjoy the stairs leading down to the bedroom - it was a struggle getting our luggage down and back up when we left! I would never book something at that altitude again - When the smoke moved in from the wildfires- we cut our stay, and left a week early-as our doctor advised us to do- It was a very expensive lesson on our part-in the future I will only book vacation packages that are more flexible!!

Great Property—We’ll Be Back

This modern one bedroom home was in a great location with large decks. We saw a buck one night and a black bear another night! The wild flowers, property and views were killer. Well equipped and furnished home. Best home we’ve rented in CB and we’ve been coming from Denver for many years.

Great Property for a Couple

Great place in Crested Butte - well on Mt. Crested Butte. The pictures are spot on and the house was a great place to stay for a week. Great finishes, appliances, and overall setup. The views from the deck were amazing - whether star gazing, watching sunset, or listening to the rain. We also saw plenty of birds, a fox, and deer in the backyard. I'd recommend this property to anyone - we are considering going back during ski season.

Terrific house and property in Mt. Crested Butte

84 Anthracite Drive is a terrific house and property. The house is perfect for one or two people, is dog friendly and seems to be pretty new. The views from house are to the west - a panorama of mountains and Gothic Valley. Great location if you want to stay in Mt. Crested Butte rather than in town. Very quiet development with houses not close together. Will definitely want to stay there again on our next CB visit. Robert from Denver

Luxurious Guest Cabin

If I were to build a small home for myself in the mountains, this would be it! Perfect for two people, fantastic views, a quiet neighborhood, and luxurious furnishings. Highly recommend.

A beautiful house with stunning views - perfect for a romantic getaway for a couple

This is a lovely property north of Crested Butte in a very quiet and hilly area. The back of the house has decks up and down that give wonderful views looking northward. The BR is downstairs with its own deck, plus a master bath and utility room. The upper area has a great, vaulted living room with fireplace, a large tv, and a Sonos sound system for music throughout the house. A fully equipped kitchen is more than enough for a two people! Lots of birds and small animals (including hummingbirds and chipmunks). One of the prettiest front gardens you'll ever see, planted with gorgeous wildflowers (at least in late July - early August when we visited). It's an easy 50 minute drive from the Gunnison-Crested Butte airport. Lots of restaurants and activities in town, just minutes away. We did five hikes in five days and enjoyed them a lot. We didn't bike, but most everyone else seemed to be doing that - mountain bike rental places are easy to find. We found the interior lighting a bit dim for our eyes, but that's about all on the other side of the ledger. We hope to return one day.
