Host was not accommodating. Communications contained a tinge of annoyance and condescension. Host refused my request to park at the Grand Lodge when I arrived before check-in time and wanted to ski. Even though the lot at the Grand Lodge was nearly empty, I had to park in a remote lot and trek to the lifts in my ski boots. Unit is poorly lit - giving the impression of staying in a dingy cave. Unit is not well maintained. The shower handle is loose, making temperature control a challenge. The dresser drawers will not stay shut. I had to wedge paper towels between the doors to keep them closed. The kitchen is not conducive to food preparation. The sink is a “wet bar” sink that is too small to wash a plate or a pan and there is no dishwasher. The kitchen waste basket is undersized for its purpose. Host did not supply salt or pepper. Host supplied the wrong filter for the drip coffee maker. Host did not supply coffee for the drip coffee maker. TV did not have any streaming capability. I had to watch the Olympics on my iPad. I will not stay with this host again - there are so many better better hosts and rental units out there.
