  • Escape to one of Crescent Head's most unique stays. The Tree House is a charming early-1970s fisherman's shack, lovingly refreshed by its new owners while retaining its original character and laid-back beach vibe.

    This cosy one-bedroom retreat features a modern kitchen, comfortable living space, and a modern private indoor/outdoor bathroom. Please note that the shower and toilet are accessed by stepping outside from the main house, adding to the property's unique charm and connection to nature.

    The Tree House is over 50 years old and delightfully simple. You'll feel the quirky charm of yesteryear, complemented by modern comforts including brand new furnishings, Wi-Fi, a Nespresso machine, Weber barbecue and Smart TV for relaxed nights in.

    This unique beach shack is full of personality, featuring a sun-drenched deck that's perfect for a morning surf check, stargazing, or simply unwinding with a drink after a day at the beach. Slow down and enjoy the relaxed Crescent Head lifestyle.

    The living room includes a pull-out sofa bed, making it ideal for couples, small families or surfing friends.

The tree house

The only real worry was the outside toilet It poured for days and there is no cover over the stairs and pathway to it.Otherwise it was a great place to stay

A bit like glamping

Cute little property. Amazing location. Incredible view on the top deck. Close walk to beach, golf and food. Comfy bed. Full west facing windows with out blinds or curtains did make it extremely difficult to keep the heat out during a head wave. Much hotter inside than out. Fortunately the fan was very high. To access the toilet and shower you do need to walk down the front stairs and then into the back yard under the house. Difficult at night but this was clear in the advert. The actual showering experience was very nice and refreshing with the airflow of the outdoor shower. No secure yard for pets but always grateful for pet friendly accomodation either way. Overall a cute little place. I thought of it like high class glamping and that made it okay. Not suitable for someone who likes fancy things. Crescent head is such a top spot. If you are after quaint , simple and pet friendly you will enjoy. I hope they get some blinds.

Lovely place, had thought it would be a tad bigger due to photos. Really loved the trees. Oasis!

Easy to rent, possibly a a few more hanging hooks in bathroom would be handy, and possibly some chopped wood for the fire pit😁

Really disappointed. Very small living space that was not communicated in the add. Not clean - we had to get the cleaners back to clean the fan and to get rid of cobwebs. I didn’t appreciate that the only bathroom was outside, although it is in the add. If u want to go to the toilet at night you need to put shoes on and deal with sharing the bathroom with frogs and any other wildlife that feels like joining you. Because of the amount we were paying for the week I incorrectly assumed it was a nice place.

Great relaxing house

We really enjoyed the Tree House. It was perfect for us! Loved the Bali feel of the outdoor bathroom. The back deck was great for a BBQ. The rustic feel of the house was really enjoyable and relaxing.

a bit expensive for what it is

understanding its a beach shack, but the entrance to the premise was terrible. and the walk to and from the bathroom was not covered so paying $170 per night to have to walk to and from the bathroom after a shower to only get wet again was rather frustrating. as for pet friendly, the gate didnt close properly and there was a large gap for a dog to escape from. probably should mention this in the description.

Beach shack or glambing

We stayed at the house for a week. It had all the necessities. It certainly wasn't the Hilton but perfect for a surfing holiday or if you are on a budget. The reason why I say glambing because the outdoor toilet reminded me of camping. Enjoyed the stay and it is in a great location.
