Unfortunately the accommodation was broken into on our first day and a number of personal valuables were stolen. The host was initially helpful and we agreed on a refund for the nights unable to be used as we did not feel safe staying there. Since then the host has been completely uncontactable and not return any calls, texts, emails etc. This has been very disappointing. Stayz themselves have been excellent, and when advising them of the situations have been very helpful and understanding. We are disappointed with the outcome from the host and also how the host accused us of improper locking of the front door. Door has clearly been kicked in and lockbox also damaged.
