Clean, Cozy, and Beautiful sunsets!
I usually don’t leave reviews but this home was a wonderful stay. The pictures don’t do it justice. The place is cozy, clean, and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need from an instant pot to skewers for roasting marshmallows. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. It had all the spices we need and even simple options like parchment paper, foil, and zip lock bags that I’ve noticed other VRBO stays don’t have. The owners also are thoughtful to keep all basic condiments in the fridge making it also much easier to grocery shop for the food we needed. The patio is meshed in and very cool in the evenings. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and lit up the fire pit with firewood available to buy close by. There are two marinas very close to the property to rent a pontoon for the day and using the dock was super convenient. We didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks but seem like a fun idea. The bedrooms were spacious. A king bed and a room with two twin beds. Also there is a Murphy bed in the living room. The bathrooms are clean and updated. Showers were nice and hot with awesome pressure. There’s grocery and gas available close by and there’s a fun bar at Renegades close by to listen to music and drink. Overall I would say this home was beyond our expectations. It felt like a home but also very updated and clean making it feel like a 5 star hotel! This was our first time at Lake George and this won’t be our last. We hope to come back to this same home on our next trip!

10 stars!
This place is fabulous. We have been coming to Florida for 40+ years, and recently have dreaded visits because of traffic/people/congestion. I hope no one else finds this oasis in the sunshine state. House is awesome, clean, comfortable, well stocked, and did I mention private dock and riverfront? Unfortunately it's just a matter of time before this place gets gobbled up and Disney-fied, enjoy it while you can!! Thanks for the wonderful vacation!!

Location, Location, Location - PERFECT - Old Florida Vibe
Justin’s place is AMAZING - EXACTLY what we were looking for - Old Florida & on a lake - the back patio was our favorite spot first thing in the morning & at sunset - the cypress trees in the back yard w/ the moss hanging down, the sounds of the owls/Eagle, & looking out over the lake were pure bliss. We were lucky enough to hear some great live music from Renegades, down the road, one night while sitting on the patio. The inside of the house is lovely. The recliner/couch was great for our movie night. The one bedroom we used we found the bed to be super comfy. The house had everything we needed. Neat little neighborhood. Justin is a GREAT host/responsive.

Fishing Adventure with Friends
This is our 2nd stay at this beautiful home. The location is ideal for a quick run to Lake George, yet plenty of time on the St. Johns River too. The sunset views from this home are spectacular. The owners have done a fantastic job of making sure you have anything available that you could possibly need and they definitely have an eye for decorating a home from wall hangings to furniture. It felt more like a "home" than a rental.

Perfect Lake House Getaway
Karen’s property is a beautiful home with the most gorgeous sunset views. The dock is huge and perfect for fishing and watching wildlife. The kitchen is 5 stars and has everything you need. The only thing we couldn’t find was a blender so I’d bring one if you need it!

Doesn’t get any better
If you are looking for a rental in the Lake George/ St Johns River area, this house is perfect. My husband and I have rented many VRBO’s, and we both agree this was the best. The house is clean, newly remodeled, very comfortable beds and the living room has reclining sofas that are perfect for weekend football games. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked and the screened in porch has nice furniture and is a perfect spot to read a book. We rented a boat and tied it to the dock so we could fish and enjoy the lake. It is a great spot with an abundance of wildlife. Although we didn’t catch a record bass, we did catch plenty of other fish. This is a neat area, yes it is a bit rural, but if your looking to get away from the strip malls of Florida and see what it’s really like in the sunshine state this is your spot. Karen is a great host and we appreciate the opportunity to make memories here.
