Secluded Country Retreat with Boutique Hotel Vibes plus Pool/Hot Tub sleeps 50+

Just outside of the Waco city limits is a peaceful place to stay for 50 guests! Bring everyone together during the day, and retreat to your private and comfortable room at night. This isn't your typical bunk house! We offer beautifully decorated private rooms with several gathering spaces to ensure everyone is well rested and ready to engage the next day! Gathering Oaks sits nestled on 30 acres of Texas landscape surrounded by horse farms, but all the lodging and activities take place in a 1 acre circle. Gathering Oaks Retreat can host your special event and accommodate overnight guests for meetings, weddings, retreats or reunions. We are 15 minutes from Magnolia Silos, Baylor and Waco Airport, and only 5 to 10 minutes from Lake Waco, Tonkwa Falls, famous BBQ, and a local vineyard & winery. There is a seasonal pool and hot tub, pickle ball courts, and turf grass lawn for games including corn hole. Message us for package rates and an easier breakdown of the property with a visual pdf. Weddings have an additional charge for the use of wedding and reception sites (three options), public restroom, guest access, parking and chairs/tables for up to 100 guests. Max guests 200. Message us to receive our wedding package pdf with all the details of hosting a wedding with us.

The entire main property includes the 5 bedroom Gathering House, pool, pavilion, shady courtyard, meeting/party room with tables/chairs for 50, and 14 additional private rooms on-site. The Gathering House has two refrigerators, 3 ovens, 4 full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. The 14 additional suites include 4 tiny houses, a two-bedroom cottage, a luxury suite, and 7 modern hotel suites. All 14 suites come with a private entrance and bathroom. These are clean, unique and comfortable lodging accommodations that will bring a fun vibe that is so different from a hotel experience.

For retreats, there are 19 bedrooms on the property. We assume adults can stay based on double occupancy in king and queen beds and up to 50 adults guests can stay comfortably. See breakdown below. If you want everyone to have their own bed, we can sleep 39 adults. If you want everyone to have their own room, we can sleep 19. Max capacity is 50 adults with room for families to have additional kids. We now have three additional optional lodging options to add to this package to sleep up to 18 more guests!

Don’t need all 19 bedrooms? You don't have to rent the entire property, but the listed rates reflect the whole property. Please message us to decrease the number of rooms needed and we can adjust the price accordingly. Some limitations apply. We usually only allow partial bookings within a one month window of check-in or in off seasons.

9Q, 10Q, 11Q- 3 private Single Queen Hotel suites (sleeps 2 each) with TV, chair and laptop table, 5 cup coffee maker, mini-fridge, standing shower. Rooms are not connected but all doors are on one side and share the same building.

12K- Luxury Casita with king bed (sleeps 2) plus an additional small room with vanities and wet bar that would fit a pack n play or extra guest with sliding door. Mini fridge, 5 cup coffee maker, TV, desk, dresser, chaise lounge, and large handicap accessible shower.

13 & 14- Two bedroom cottage with kitchen (stove, refrigerator, & sink). King bedroom 1 has a shower/tub, TV & a twin day bed. King bedroom 2 has a soaking tub, shower, TV, and Murphy bed. There is also a couch in the sitting area (sleeps 6)

Storage Kitchen equipped with additional refrigerator, extra space for prep or storage, and washer/dryer.

The center of the households the gathering space focused on the large kitchen island with 4 barstools. It comes equipped with pots/pans, plates, glasses, wine glasses, and cutlery. There are 3 ovens, 1 stovetop, large side by side refrigerator and farmhouse sink. We have several flat bottom 12 cup of coffee pots and a tea maker. There are 4 rectangular farm tables with benches that seat 28 to 30 plus 4 pub tables and bar stools in the connected and enclosed patio bar with seating for 12.

Party/ meeting room- 800 sq/ft indoors with 800 sq/ft patio space. Fits up to 50 people at 5 - 60 inch round tables and 10 white padded chairs per table. We also have nice padded chairs as an option for long table discussion or board meetings. 4 rectangular folding tables in the closets for serving or gift tables. This space comes with a full bathroom & shower and a kitchenette including microwave, sink, refrigerator, and 12 cup coffee pot with mugs. Additional fees may apply for meeting room if you want to request an early check-in or late check-out.

Decorated with a fresh modern-rustic vibe, The Gathering House will include a newly renovated kitchen with a huge butcher block island for central gathering. The 41-foot enclosed patio features solid windows that frame the serenity of the property with sky-high live oaks, a refreshing pool, and trickling fountains that whisper relaxation. There are several common areas available including the pool, playground, fire pits, horseshoes, washers, corn hole, and sport court. We do have two dog-friendly tiny houses available as well.

We are located conveniently. The Retreat is situated right off TX Hwy 6 just outside of the Waco city limits offering the best of both city and rural attractions. We are nestled between two local Texas wineries, 15 minutes to Baylor campus and Magnolia, 5 minutes to Lake Waco and 10 minutes to restaurants and shopping, and 15 minutes from Waco Airport.

No daily hotel service or breakfast options. Fire pit, patio furniture, pool, and outdoor games are all shared spaces. We do not have natural gas and do not keep the hot tub heated 24/7 to save energy and keep things green. If you would like to request a hot tub reservation, October through April, we can warm it up remotely for a fee of $50 per hour. This fee is optional and and covers the private hot tub reservation, extra power and prep, but is totally worth it for that perfect evening dip under the stars! Feel free to bring your own fire wood (no cedar) to light the fire pit at your convenience.
