Absolutely beautiful spacious cottage for 8 of us and 2 dogs outdoor area so big for the children and dogs to play, it was so clean and had everything we needed.

Weekend away

We stayed here with kids, grandparents and dogs. We had a lovely weekend, there was plenty of space for us all, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely come again

Truly peaceful

40th Anniversary Celebration with family

Great stay

We had a great stay at Matt’s property. The location was great and the barn was clean and well equipped. The welcome goodies were very much appreciated. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. If we were in the area again we would happily stay at the barn again.

Family Holiday

Perfect for a multigenerational family holiday. Plenty of space for the children to play, indoors and out. Really close to footpaths to enjoy the magnificent countryside. Relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine, just sheep and tranquillity.

Outstanding property

Brilliant accommodation. Everything you could want was in this brilliantly refurbished barn from the log fire , comfy beds, beautiful kitchen, en-suite bedrooms and beautiful views Matt was the perfect host. We appreciated the tea coffee milk and eggs on arrival. Had a lovely week in sheer luxury

Stunning location and beautiful property

Matt hide away in the Shropshire Hills was the perfect weekend excape for our multi generational and mixed mobility family group the area is breathtaking and the property was immaculate and the host Matt was a absolute Gent with fantastic communication throughout and flexibility. A super property and a super host.

Great holiday

This is our 4th visit to the barn and we plan to return in the autumn. Extremely comfortable property with excellent facilities. This year the weather has been particularly good so we appreciated the lovely new rattan furniture allowing us to sit out in comfort on the decking surrounded by the beautiful scenery. We did some great walks from the property.

Friends & Family Birthday Celebration

We stayed here for my husbands 'big' birthday. Wonderful location and beautiful barn. The pooches didnt want to leave! Perfect for coming together with loved ones. Fabulous walks and perfect for chilling on the decking listening to birds and watching wildlife. Barn is well equipped, spacious, lovely fireplace and host very welcoming and helpful.

What a stunning place! Perfect for a family get together. So peaceful, beautiful grounds, ideal for dogs, beautiful bedrooms, lovely large tables in and out to eat and play games. Plenty of space for everyone. Highly recommend for visitors with limited mobility. Everywhere is fully accessible with well- designed wet rooms. Cannot fault this beautiful place

Beautiful secluded getaway

Matt’s house is stunning. It is fitted out to a very high standard with beautiful decor. The huge garden sweeping dow to its own stream was a dream for our kids and dogs. Matt had great communication with us throughout and was very accommodating. We would definitely visit again.

Multi generational delight

A great long weekend for all three generations. Little ones could run around inside and out all on the same level. The older ones could walk, and walk, and walk, in the great countryside. Castle ruins close by. Pubs and shops close too (by car). Hightly recommend this lodge.

Perfect peace in Shropshire

We travelled to England to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and wanted a place to get away that was accessible. The cottage was perfect for us, we loved the countryside and the peaceful luxuries in the cottage. Matt was a wonderful host, providing us with good local food suggestions as well as some fresh food staples when we arrived. We also appreciated all the literature about the surrounding areas. We would definitely return if we can, as it is really well set up and laid out for anyone. We highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful accessible accommodation

We had a fantastic 2 weeks staying in this stunning 4 bedroomed extremely spacious accommodation, Having two large wet rooms was an added bonus. Situated in the beautiful Shropshire hills with only sheep for neighbours. Would highly recommend this property to anybody, particularly those looking for accessible accommodation. Matt could not have been more helpful, always at hand if needed.

Fantastic family weekend!!

A wonderful family weekend celebrating a special birthday. The property was in a beautiful location, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed it so much we all wanted to stay longer (or forever!!) 😂 Matt and Glen were wonderful hosts and were available and easily contactable and nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend this lovely accommodation to anyone as it suits everyone’s needs. We will definitely return in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay.
