We loved our stay here! The cottage was the best we ever seen stocked! The beds were a little rough but over all we truly loved the home and can’t wait to return during the summer!

Perfect home to spend time with family. The steps down to the water was the only thing we all had problems with. Other than that, wonderful stay.

Loved this house. Had a group of 7 adults and it worked perfect for us. Sitting on the deck looking at the lake was magical. Took a nap on the hammock in the screened in porch. Had fun playing ping pong and foosball. Very well stocked kitchen.

We loved this property! This has all the little stuff that makes the stay even better! We loved the swim dock and all the extras there ad all! It's a bit of a hike getting to and from the water but we couldn't have asked for more! We'll be back for sure!

Great location. Great amenities! Very well stocked. The stairs to go down to the lake were difficult for an out of shape 61-year-old, but good exercise. Great for nature lovers as it is secluded and surrounded by various “critters”! Enjoyed making fun family memories!

Great getaway

Great cozy cottage on the lake it was wonderful place to stay. The stairs to the water was a work out but worth it. The house was clean and it had every thing we needed.

Smith Lake Weekend

We had a great time in the fun cottage in the cove! Julie was highly accessible and super helpful! It was nice having so many basic essentials provided! We also found some great local dining, including karaoke for the teens!

Great recharge!

Between the space, ping pong table, kayaks, and paddle boat, fun was had by the adults and the little kids. Not much room for improvement for a family getaway. Really great value!

This property was a hidden gem! The kitchen and rest of the house were stocked with everything you need and more! Julie was very attentive and responsive! Our kids loved swimming in the cove and playing with all the toys. The property was wooded and high on the hill so the views were magical. We cant wait to come again!

Another Great Stay

This was our second stay at Julie's cabin. It was great. As before, the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed and more. We made good use of the dock and boats, the large screened porch with ping pong, foozball, hammocks, etc., and the decks, great for reading, relaxing and talk, with a beautiful view to the lake. All in all, very enjoyable weekend.

We always enjoy staying at the cottage in the cove! Julie is a great host and her rental has great amenities. We went during winter so didn’t use the lake or swim deck. We spent our time in front of the fireplace, cooking a big breakfast, playing board games or enjoying the screened in porch. We visit Smith Lake yearly and let our kids pick the rental for this trip. All four voted for Cottage in the Cove! They adore the screened in porch with ping pong, hammocks and foosball. We are ready to come back in the summer. We like to rent the cabin next door too when we have a larger group. The docks are close and it’s a good set up when multiple rentals are needed.

Not Long Enough

Our family, including our two pups, had a wonderful stay at The Cottage in the Cove!! It was comfortable for the two adults and two teens, as well as for the dogs. We spent much of our time on the floating dock or in the water… it was beautiful. Only wished we could’ve stayed for a whole week!

Thanksgiving away from home

We stayed here during Thanksgiving. I was concerned about cooking a full Thanksgiving dinner at a rental. This property has the best stocked kitchen I've stayed in yet! We have stayed in places all over Europe and the US. You can tell when the owner spends time there compared to an investment property. Wonderful!

Lake vacay

This place is the best to stay at !! Especially if you don’t actually own a boat but want the lake experience! She offers so much things to get on the water in ! This is our second year and we have not been disappointed yet !
