Overall house was great, host was on top of things and quick to respond to any issues we had. Lost internet for a couple days due to a service issue but they were on getting it fixed. Patio area could you a good power washing but the inside of the house was clean and worth the money. Looking forward to going back.

Great house for our group of 5, lots of space. Great ocean views and beautiful pool. Directly across from beach with easy access. Property managers Mario and Sara were great to work with. We had a few issues when we checked in and they were handled immediately. Mario set up several activities for us and certified me in diving! Highly recommend!

Everything about Villa Coronado is AMAZING! Great communication, exactly as stated in pictures and description and super helpful with any questions we had. Great snorkeling and diving right across the street. Special shout out to Mario! Went diving with him twice and he was so kind and attentive to us both. Always checking in to make sure we were feeling comfortable and he knew exactly where to find all the great sea-life (sharks, eagle rays, turtles, eels etc) he also takes amazing underwater pictures!! And, if that wasn't enough he cooked a delicious dinner for us one night. Thank you Mario!!A couple suggestions while staying here. Corona Beach is within walking distance and is a nice, quiet beach with GREAT snorkeling. We rented bikes from Rent a Bike Cozumel which is another fun way to get around- they drop off and pick up right at the property. Definitely try to make it to the "wild" side of the island. It's beautiful and a great way to spend a day.We will definitely stay here again!

Great Place! Disappointing WIFI

First off, we loved Villa Coronado and had a great time on our annual "put our toes in the sand for the superbowl" vacation (myself and a couple of my motorcycle buddies). The place was great, location was great. The only issue we really had was that FOR THE ENTIRE TIME we were there, the WIFI was "out." We tried everything, rebooting the router, etc. Told it might be TELMEX (the ISP) but they did not indicate an outage. If the provider is really that spotty, then the listing shouldn't list WIFI as an amenity if it can't reliably be counted on. My recommendation would be for the owner to get Starlink and advertise that on their listing. 100% reliable internet. Then just add the increased cost to the listing price, which couldn't be more than a couple dollars/day. I wish there was 4 3/4 stars available for a rating as this was the only blemish on an otherwise wonderful stay. We dove with Mario and he was amazing! We WOULD stay at Villa Coronado again. Just would like to see the internet issue addressed.

Awesome Beach Home

Simply paradise. Just a few steps from the beach with a great swimming pool and amenities. Internet was a concern, but you’re on vacation right? Mario, our host while in town was perfect! One evening we asked that he prepare dinner and he was happy to oblige. Will definitely be back!

Already looking forward to our next stay at Villa Coronado

Perfect for our family of 8 - plenty of room for more guests as well, great pool, beach only steps away. Manager Mario was fantastic - arranged 6 days of diving and snorkeling at a really reasonable cost. Chefs Eddy and Nancy with Sandra's Kitchen provided wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Highly recommend both for a carefree vacation. Will be back.

Beryl strikes

Unfortunately, hurricane Beryl had other plans for Cozumel. Beryl hit the bottom of the island and washed out the property and so whilst flights were still running the property was not habitable and it also would have felt wrong to be trying to vacation whilst locals are trying to recover their homes. The host remained in contact with us throughout and was gracious enough to refund the cost of the stay (we still lost a lot of money to Vrbo) when she didn’t have to. We were so looking forward to staying here, perhaps another time.

Great stay, awesome location, just a couple of issues

fantastic location for divers, very comfortable house, we really enjoyed Cozumel. Unfortunately we weren't able to use the pool much since prior to our arrival a storm took out the pool pumps, so water was stagnant. Also Hurricane Beryl hit on our last night, which took out power, water, and cell phone reception. We spent an hour cleaning up the driveway in order to be able to drive to the airport; the house also flooded in multiple locations as a result of the storm. Management personnel were nervously anxious to bring pool chairs and other outdoor things into the house in prep for the storm, but did not come to check on us after the storm.

Favorite México vacation!

Loved everything about this trip. The location was the best spot on island with great snorkeling across the street and great shops and restaurants nearby. Mario and Sarah the managers were the best. They responded immediately about any questions we had. Mario was the best snorkel guide and set us up with fishing and even gave a quick scuba lesson. We will definitely be back.

Great time in a great spot.

Gorgeous house. Very good snorkel right out the front door. Walking distance to some beach clubs but take the time to go to town and experience the city and friendly Mexican people. Just dont book for the same days as us :-)

Wonderful property for groups and large families!

What a great property for vacation! We were planning a family vacation with our sons, wives, and 3 grandsons. It is a perfect house for all ages! Great layout for naps and quiet time...and even reading a book or taking a nap. Unfortunately due to illness our grandsons couldn't make it this year, so we invited two extra friends to join us. We had more than enough to do every day! The bedrooms were very large and had nice bathrooms. Great for separate families and privacy! The pool area and covered deck were wonderful for a little bit of shade or a break from the rain. Great sunsets from the deck and palapa upstairs......we even ventured out to the beach for some of the best sunsets. The furniture outside was perfect for eating meals or gathering. It was nice to have 2 separate areas to relax.. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. Plenty of utensils/dishes/serving pieces for any cooking you might want to do. Having filtered water available was a nice treat! Mario, the house manager was wonderful to work with. He met us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the house and instructions for lighting, fans and the pool. He was available anytime we needed help. We even hired him to take our group on a snorkeling tour. He's an enthusiastic diver and tour guide. Overall we had a terrific four week stay. We felt safe at all times and enjoyed being so close to the ocean. The owner was a great communicator and took care of any minor issues immediately. Our family would highly recommend this home!

What a wonderful place!

My friends and I had a great time here for my birthday week. Mario was super helpful and also took us on a great snorkeling trip. The house is spacious and comfortable and was perfect for our group of 10.

Great house in great location

We loved our stay and will stay here again… this location is across from good snorkeling… it’s close to the Money Bar and a short ride from town… great sunsets, good AC and comfortable accommodations. Mario took good care of us… I highly recommend!

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful family vacation at Villa Coronado! The place is conveniently located right across the road from playa uvas which is an excellent beach for snorkeling and swimming! We rented a car for hopping around the island and the house is located about 15 minutes from the square in town. The property manager Mario was excellent making us homemade salsa upon arrival. The place is so clean and fresh with housekeeping service multiple times a week! We loved the pool and dive cleaning tank for after our diving days. This house accommodated our family of 9 and we enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, the laundry room, the upstairs palapa and balconies! We visit Cozumel multiple times a year and will be back to Villa Coronado!

Great location and house!

We really enjoyed our time here. The house is within walking distance to two beach clubs and minor driving to many more. The manager, Mario, is fantastic as was the cleaning service and responsiveness of the host. We went snorkeling with Mario for a day, and he helped me contact a doctor on the island when I had some ear issues from diving. The house is nothing short of amazing, from the location, to the pool, to the people.

Gorgeous place, convenient yet quiet location

Don’t even know where to start! The house was amazing and comfortable for my husband and our 5 20-somethings. We opted to have Jorge and Fernanda from Sandra’s Kitchen cook for us and they were amazing. A new delight each day! Mario was absolutely wonderful - showed us everything, helped us get a some drinks and a few groceries, got us a couple of bikes to take around, and took us on some amazing and very personalized dives! He was very responsive and made the week nothing short of perfect. I can’t say enough about how easy it all was. The location is perfect. Close enough to a few restaurants, bars and beaches but quiet enough that we weren’t bothered when we stayed around the house. The pool and grounds were gorgeous. We didn’t end up renting a car, taxis and bikes were enough to get around, although we did rent a keep and some scooters to go around the island one day.

Great house, pool, beach and location with easy access to snorkeling and restaurants.

This was a great experience. House is clean and very functional. Property manager Mario was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with answering questions about the area to arranging trips, taxi rides etc. Beach and beautiful clear water is right I front of the house. You can snorkel within 100’ off the property. Sunset and sunrise Views off the balcony and the roof top are something you need to see. We felt safe, welcomed and appreciated. Easy walking distance to a few beach bars and beach access. Owner, Tam, was very responsive along the way. We recommend this property. The Acars

Wonderful Week

The home, the pool, the location and the diving were everything we expected! The new divers in our group were blown away by the variety of sea life they saw snorkeling from the beach just across the street from the house and the shore dive and drift dive led by Mario. We had plenty of room for the whole family and the private swimming pool was perfect for relaxing in at the end of the day and watching some amazing sunsets. Great accomodations

Despite the weather we had a great time. Wish we could have done more exploring. The owner answered all of our questions and the property manager was very attentive and prompt with our requests. Rented a car that was also very necessary. Had some good diving excursions and saw a lot of life in GODs aquarium. Would definitely book here again.
