Our return to this property in early March as a group of six friends was just as wonderful as our stay last year. Although we had some initial concerns due to recent reports of violence in Mexico, we felt completely safe throughout our trip and experienced no impact from those issues.The location of the condo remains incredibly convenient — an easy walk to town and with a grocery store right across the street. We also loved the upgrades to the balcony furniture. The new large table elevated an already fantastic space. The balcony itself is amazing, and we highly recommend booking the balcony massages.Snorkeling right off the property was even better than last year. The layout of the condo worked perfectly for our group, with two people per room and each bedroom having its own bathroom. There is also a balcony on the entry side of the condo with amazing morning sun. The friendly and helpful security team was always present and appreciated. Ed and Laura were wonderful hosts and responded quickly to any questions.We truly love this property and highly recommend it.

This beautiful condo has it all! Beautiful view, great location, friendly staff, pool, and comfortable beds. We stayed during Carnival week and my husband and I had a blast! Gave other two couples rooms by ocean since a diver and did not go out. Their rooms were quiet. If staying that week, room by road is noisy (our room) with music and celebrating. I knew this because I have been to celebration before.Ed and Laura are excellent hosts and responded to all questions quickly. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo. Paul and I are planning another trip next year with our family!

Everything in the condo was in great condition. We were welcomed and asked if there was anything we needed or wanted to do during our stay. We would love to return and stay here again! Highly recommend!!

The host was welcoming. The place was tidy and had great views. Everything was perfect, with the exception of access to laundry. We had not anticipated that and did end up sending out our laundry. Also for our stay and no access to laundry, there should have been more access to clean and dry towels. It did rain quite a bit so we did end up using wet towels more then we would have liked (small problems in a very beautiful location).

Quiet, spacious condo with a great poolside and beautiful views of ocean. Onsite personnel that made us feel very safe, helped with taxis and gave great recommendations. Laura hired a private chef to come to our condo and we had a 4 course meal that was delicious! The condo is close to the action of downtown and can walk to many places. Grocery/liquor across the street. We ate at Guiodo’s and New Especias for a nice dinner, and Jeannie’s and Rockin Java for a more casual eating experience. Recommend snorkel tour and snorkeling off the dock at the condo.

We absolutely loved our stay at this condo. The kitchen was spotless and well-maintained, and the security staff downstairs was incredibly friendly and helpful. The snorkeling right in front of the condo was amazing—we even saw a lionfish and a spotted eel just steps from the building! The location, comfort, and overall experience were outstanding. We will definitely be booking this place again on our next trip.

Thank you so much Ed & Laura! We had a perfect stay at this space and will definitely plan to return (which is really saying something, as we usually stay somewhere once and choose a new place to travel and stay on our following trips). With our family of 5 (3 teens and 2 adults), we all had plenty of space, comfortable accommodations, and lots of activities right at our doorstep. The snorkeling was so wonderful right in front of El Cantil, we didn't end up booking a snorkel tour from the recommended places offered through the info binder in the room. We did book a beginner's scuba tour, and it was excellent, with the boat docking for pick up right at the hotel below our room. The grocery store right across the street from the hotel meant that eating in using the full kitchen was accessible and simple. While for meals out, there are more than enough awesome choices right within a few blocks. And, when everyone is full of sunshine and craving a break, there are 2 movie theaters within 5 minutes walk with 5pp and all of the latest options. We truly couldn't have asked for a better stay! Thank you again!

Wonderful stay at El Cantil

Spacious and quiet condo with great views of the water. Ed and Laura were a great team and communication was excellent. The location was ideal, with one grocery store across the street and another store within a 5 minute walk. The city center, with all of the available restaurants, was accessible within a 10-15 minute walk. We went scuba diving with Aldora, and they picked us up at the El Cantil dock, making the process very easy. Roberto was our divemaster for several of the dives. I would highly recommend Aldora and Roberto.

Wonderful stay at El Cantil in Cozumel!

Our stay at Vista Azul/El Cantil was absolutely wonderful! The unit was very nice, clean and spacious! The complex was also clean and the pool and dock area allowed for some fun in the water...relaxing in the pool and snorkeling off of the dock. The location was great...next to a grocery store and walkable to many restaurants and attractions. Dining at Guidos and La Cocay were VERY tasty!! We really enjoyed our time in Cozumel!!

This unit is amazing! It is right one the ocean with amazing views and has 3 bedroom with their own bathroom. It is also conveniently located to downtown and grocery stores! This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and will definitely book again!

Cozumel Paradise

We had a fantastic stay. The space is more beautiful than the pictures. I wanted to spend all my time on the balcony. The condo is well equipped and comfortable. Location is key - having the grocery store across the street and downtown walkable was so convenient. The dive shops we booked with unfortunately did not pick up from the El Cantil dock, however it was a 10 cab ride which was no problem - always easy to get a taxi. I took walks every morning and our group was out at night and always felt safe. Ed and Laura answered all questions. Laura arranged for balcony massages and they were amazing. Having the pool, hot tub, and ocean just outside was a huge selling point for us. I enjoyed the morning sun cutting between the two condo buildings to the pool. No issues with WiFi, plenty of towels. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect for our family!

Three in suite bedrooms. Everything we needed for our family to get together from the States. Grocery/General Store directly across the street. Taxi service anytime hailed by the porter. The entire area is very walkable and safe. Good snorkeling off the dock, tons of sea life on an old pier reef marked by an orange buoy. Pool was great. Never saw more than a dozen or so people. Everyone was so friendly. Would rent again!

Back to Cozumel!

We just returned to Cozumel after 27 years. The island did not disappoint nor did our wonderful accommodations at El Cantil! Prior to our visit, our host Ed Ohayon was so gracious in helping us with everything from great restaurant recommendations, to helping us with various questions we had prior to our arrival. We also loved that we were in the best hands with Laura, the property manager. She was extremely helpful and made sure that anything we needed or any questions we had were taken care of immediately. A huge thank you to both Ed and Laura! We can't wait to return as after many years away from Cozumel, we have found a great "home" to go back to again!

Perfect place for us!

We really enjoyed our stay in Ed's condo at El Cantil. The property was great and just as advertised. The property manager, Laura, was outstanding and very attentive from the moment we arrived to the day we left. We look forward to staying here again on future dive trips.

Great place for a long stay

We had a wonderful time staying here. There was always someone at the front of the building willing to help with any issues and made the property feel very secure. The location, amenities, and pool were amazing. There isn’t a washer or dryer but you can always go to the local laundry mat. Our goats was very responsive and accommodating to a few hiccups we had during our travels, couldn’t have found a better place!

Loved our stay at El Cantil!! Check in was seamless and Laura was wonderful. The staff/security were friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful and the condo is spacious. Snorkeling was super fun and accessible on the property. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony and/or infinity pool were gorgeous. Easy walking distance to restaurants and grocery store.
