Close to shops

Lovely location, small house, great back yard and front yard for dog. It was not cleaned when we arrived and very dusty. No wifi.

Perfect location, great for pets

Wow! We were really impressed with our stay here. First, the reception staff was super friendly and welcoming. The property itself was very clean and spacious, the five of us found it very relaxing. Shops for takeaway and morning coffee are walking distance, as is the beach, so the location is perfect. Best of all there is a large fully enclosed back yard, so our Jack Russell had plenty of space to run around and play fetch. A+ stay, thank you!

Good location

Two main bedrooms were comfortable but the third room with bunks was very unfortable-the top bunk couldn’t be used even by a child. The toilet has no fan and the window wouldn’t open in this small house. Very limited cooking saucepan, pans. The yard was great, nice to sit and listen to the birds actually outside was nicer than inside. Good location.

Great location but small

The house looks huge in the pictures and the backyard definitely is. But inside is very tight. The house just seemed unfinished. Doors not even painted stained carpet and rock hard beds. Great location only a short worn to town

A little tired but but dog friendly and location good

Could do with a new couch and some TLC and general upkeep. Great backyard for our labrador and 10 walk to the beach. No wifi which could be an issue for some so worth mentioning. Close to shops and 15 minute walk to the main drag.Overall ok and comfortable beds, no proper door to the main bedroom but a saloon door which could be an issue if you’re a light sleeper.A deep clean wouldn’t hurt since there was dust in most rooms and crumbs in the drawers.For what we paid, I would probably have expected a little more but it was ok for a weekend.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is in a good location ,and was quite clean overall.The house is in serious need of maintenance, and I mean professional maintenance not slum landlord DIY.The garage lock fell off due to rust. Front door was difficult to open due to dodgy trimming of the closing edge.3rd bedroom had totally unacceptable spring bed that woke up other guests.Front yard was a disgrace.This house needed a bit of love and attention.Unlikely to stay there again.

A great base for exploring Phillip Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was perfectly located for us, we could walk into town or easily access other parts of the island. The location was quiet and private, the yard is huge and we felt secure. The amenities were great, The bathroom was an older style but everything worked and was clean. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. It would be great to have wifi on site but the mobile reception was fine in the house. We'd happily stay here again!

Yard was not dog secure. There was rat poison traps all around the outside of house. There was a dead rat in the garage. Lawns had not been mowed. Unsatisfactory outdoor seating. Cobwebs throughout interior.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is in a great spot and a good price for how late we booked, unfortunately, we had issues with the hot water service and as it is pet friendly the carpet was littered with cat hair which caused a lot of issues with allergies.

Great budget stay

A great property that has an awesome fenced yard for dogs and not far to shops and beach. The bedroom carpet could do with a clean (made my friend nervous), but otherwise all the basics were supplied. Because the power was out on the island for several hours when we arrived, the house should have supplied candles/torch (as per other rentals I have had) - lucky our phones had enough charge to use their torches. On the whole, a pleasant stay for the two couples and although the weather (being winter) was inclement, we still did lots of exploring.

Cowes' main strip shops and beach are only a 10 minutes stroll away. Don't let the outside exterior fool you, the interior has been given a make-over with beach decor.
