The host / owner was great and very helpful. I'm very appreciative of his support when we struggled to connect with the "red awning" manager. The space was super cute and quiet. The space was dirty. One of the beds didn't have its sheets cleaned from a previous guest. Someone left dirty clothes behind a pillow in the living room. The front of the property is gorgeous and as portrayed in the pictures. The entrance was around the back, full of last year's leaves and had dust that was at least a year old. The hot tub is not usable and the outdoor furniture was not remotely clean enough to sit on. I

Gorgeous Terrace Lvl Guest Suite!

This hilltop home provided us a fabulous place to put up family members over Thanksgiving. The host is very quick to communicate & address any issues, and the property is decorated with a spectacular eye for rustic elegance. All the amenities were satisfactory or better, TVs and Internet worked well, it has a very nice coffee bar and the super-spacious kitchen gave us plenty of room to prepare holiday dishes and mingle. The beds were very comfortable (one firmer and one softer), and the outdoor space was as advertised: we easily parked 3 cars with room for more. Nestled in the trees, we saw lots of bird activity! The driveway is a bit steep but it wasn't an issue for us, and the house is privately situated in a friendly farming community in a lovely, rural part of the state, but not too far from the bustling Nashville suburbs and only a few country miles (watch out for deer & other wildlife) from the towns of White House & Gallatin, where you can meet almost any restaurant and grocery needs etc. We would absolutely recommend this charming guest suite rental to anyone staying in the area. 5 stars+!!

When we arrived the place had not been cleaned from the prior reservation. It was not cleaned until 8:30 that evening. We should have immediately been refunded 1/2 a day as we did not have use of it half the 1st day. The game room was in complete disarray and had not been cleaned either. The dart board was broken and on the ground and the entire place was filthy. Based on the lack of cleanliness of the place and the fact it was not cleaned from the prior reservation we should have been refunded the cleaning fee and 1/2 a days reservation as we did not have a cleaned place until late that evening and left because it was not clean so they could clean it. Not a place I would recommend based on how it is cared for. I had even asked and gotten reassured the place would be clean prior to our stay because i asked about it because of a prior review the previous month stating the place was not clean. They obviously have maintenance and cleaning issues that are not getting addressed. To this date i was not offered any refund or credit for the 1/2 day we did not have or the fact the place was not clean and the game room was not in fully working order (which is why we had booked in the first place). The game room is not attached to the home, this is another item that needs to actually be made more clear. Its in a shop that does not have heat a distance from the actual area you stay. Lastly there is no trash cans outside to put the trash so you are stuck with all your trash in the place.
