"Lovevly night away! Hosts made it so easy and hassle free. Room was very clean, had a peaceful nights sleep! Had dinner down the road in a pub called the wheatsheaf! Which was very nice! Rutland water is only a 15min drive! Thanks again to the host! "

"The Garden Room was everything you could want for a quiet weekend away. There was everything there you could possibly want, all needs were catered for . . . and more. The host was exceptional in all communications and everything in the property was explained thoroughly. The facilities were fantastic. We will definitely be returning! 10/10"

"Loved the cottage and the welcome was truly wonderful! We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. We did find a truly wonderful walk around Empingham along the river through plantations of newly planted trees and the most incredible display of wildflowers, excellent!"

"Very close to Rutland water. Loads to do at Rutland. Rural location only accessable by car. The owner kindly let us charge the car at the house (we worked out and paid for the electricity used). I was pleased to find there is a freezer in the kitchen. There were lots of kitchen utensils which made cooking easy."

"We were all looking forward to our short Christmas break and we were not disappointed.. The cottage was easy to find and we had early access. The heating was on and everything looked cosy. Louise had left a hamper and a bottle of Champagne - thankyou The bedrooms were of good size and the beds were comfy with a bedroom downstairs with accessible bathroom which was for us invaluable. Very thin walls which are not great when the guests in the neighbouring room stay up until 2am, no ventilation (no window to open) so very stuffy even in December"
