Very comfortable home. Laid out nicely with thoughtful details. Such lovely mornings watching the fog dissapate from the river. Spent a fantastic day with Cranor's guide service, and the 4th of July parade that went right by the house was a bonus treat!

Birds and Fish

My wife and I stayed at Rivers Edge Lodge for 2 weeks and our son was able to join us for 1 week. The main purpose of out stay was fishing as my son and I fished with Cranor's Guide Service 4 different days while there. We caught Brown, Rainbow, Brook and Tiger Trout while fishing with Cranor's Guides. We also caught small Brown, Rainbow and Brook Trout from the shoreline below Rivers Edge. However, I must mention all the various Birds we saw while staying there, which included Bald Eagles, Vultures, Great Blue Heron, Woodpeckers, Blue Jays, Eastern Bluebirds, and many others. So, getting back to our stay, the Lodge was exactly as described in the the listing with a magnificent view of the White River and the bluff across the river from the back deck. The living quarters were nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. I really liked the overall layout of the bedrooms. This place is extremely quiet and relaxing. We tried to walk the almost 2 mile loop every morning/evening weather permitting and encountered many varieties of wildlife. Overall, I highly recommend this VRBO for a wonderful and relaxing escape. In addition, the local eateries are outstanding. For those that want to catchfish, look no further than booking a guided days fishing with Cranor's Guide Service, just up the river about 4 houses. You wont be disappointed with either. To sum it up in one word, our stay was outstanding.

PRICELESS VIEW!!!!

This place has everything you need. Lots of room for everyone. We had 6 adults and plenty of space for relaxing. The kitchen has everything you need. The view out of the back of the house is priceless. There were fishermen floating by and they were catching fish. We even fished right out of the back of the house and caught fish. This place is FANTASTIC!!!! We will be coming back.

Spring break fishing trip

Great location and great house! Clean and comfortable. Easy to get to. Short drive to local restaurants and fly shops. Loved being able to walk down the steps to cast a line as well as just sitting on the deck enjoying the tranquility of the river. Hope to make it back there again!

Awesome Family Vacation

The house was incredible and the host had great communication with us. The location on the river couldn't be beat for fishing and you were simply minutes from town for supplies, food, etc... Everyone in the family enjoyed the home and we had deer, squirrels, eagles, all kinds of birds, etc... each day to enjoy sitting out on the deck. We also could watch them as well view the river from inside the house out the massive glass on the river side. This was definitely the right choice for my family vacation and we hope to make a return trip in the future to enjoy the fireplace inside and the fire pit outside. Definitely one of the best homes on the river.

Perfect House for White River Getaway!

We have stayed at this property for several years now. It never disappoints! We always have plenty of room. We love the neighborhood as well. Only complaint is that the dishwasher does not work very well. Dishes did not seem very clean and were always wet after running through dishwasher

Only basic direct TV so cannot watch ESPN, TNT, USA or CBS etc. if you want to watch sports ( PGA championship, NBA finals), you will need to bring own HDMI cord with Apple TV or Roku

A true piece of paradise

Absolutely stunning location, house as all the amenities and is well layed out to offer space for friends without being in top of one another. A bathroom for every bedroom, spectacular views of the river, local towns close enough for supplies. One of the best rentals we've ever stayed in.

Great home with beautiful surroundings. Perfect for a family of small group of friends. Everything was in great condition. Great communication with owner. We used Cranors Guide Service for our fishing on the river. Walking distance to Cranors.
