"Beautiful quiet location close to the area of Acadia we wanted to visit. I was unable to use my chair at dining table. There was bolt missing. I reported it and didn’t worry about it since short trip. But the noticed my husband chair was also missing bolt. Not major deal but found it odd that both chairs were not secure for usage. "

"The Central House is a comfortable place to stay in a very convenient location. It is “central” to all of Bar Harbor and is within an easy walking distance of most places within the town. Park your car in the lot and enjoy the area. The front porch is a great place to sit while you sip wine or coffee and watch the world go by. "

"We stayed in building 1 of the motel and it was perfectly situated off the main road around the west of the island. The motel is close enough to downtown to easily drive in but far enough to avoid the busy area, if you want a quieter stay. "The staff was incredibly friendly. The location was for convenient to downtown restaurants, and close to a hiking trail. I wish I had done more research on the particular room we stayed in. I thought we were staying in the main house, which I liked the aesthetic of more. The Rocklynn is basic in comparison. But that's my own fault for not doin the research. "
