"The photos do not do this property justice! The property and cabin are beautiful and tranquil. Only 30 minutes to Acadia National Park. Very easy to tour all of Mount Desert Island from the cabin. 10 mintes to a couple of grocery stores. When we first turned onto the dirt/gravel road and the GPS still showed 1 mile to go we were a bit apprehensive but we went to the end of the road and turned into the drive and were met with a stunning view of the cabin, cove and river. "We had a fabulous stay at the Aspen cabin. The kids swam and paddled for hours in the beautiful pristine water of Little Tunk. The sunsets and then the stars in the clear dark sky were spectacular! We are definitely excited to return next summer."

"The cabin was great. King size bed was better than our own bed. Never slept better. Our host answered all the questions I had. The cabin was stocked with anything you needed to fix meals and bathroom was also stocked. The area was very quiet. Even watched a deer walk thru the property. It was conveniently located to Acadia National Park and we made use of the Island Explorer bus system. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to this area of Maine. Highly recommend this VRBO."

"More then met my expectations! Pictures cannot show how beautiful this cabin and its grounds are! I arrived about 7:00 pm - just past sunset and when I went into the house a preachy-golden glow was coming through the large windows that face the bay. The paths that led to the other two cabins - which are a good distance away so we all have our privacy - were lit with lovely lights. "We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful location, nice kitchen, even a really good place for dogs. We had everything to be comfortable. At nights the sky was breathtaking. The only problem was the mattresses. They kept creaking. Backyard was amazing! We had a such a relaxing time."

"Very cozy cabin. Was nice for our family to stay in on a quiet vacation to end our summer. The only small downside to our stay was the gap between the stairs and the porch was wide enough that our toddler's foot fit in the crack. She stepped into it and gave herself a nice bruise. Not anything that took away from the stay - just something for others to be mindful of. Would happily book again! "

"This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again."
