The facilities are in excellent condition. Hot water, heat, gas fireplace, hot tub, oven, bathrooms, showers all work. Location is just far enough off the path to lose yourself but still close enough to the grocery store if you need something.

We had a memorable stay at this rustic cabin! It definitely has that old-time charm—creaky floors, vintage woodwork, and a quiet, secluded atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. At night, the cabin had a little spooky vibe (the kind you’d expect from being deep in the woods with only the sounds of nature), but honestly, that just added to the adventure and made the experience more unique.The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed sitting by the fire and soaking in the peaceful surroundings during the day. If you’re looking for something different from the usual modern rentals—something with character, history, and a touch of mystery—this cabin is a great choice!

Had a wonderful time in this cabin, reading books, playing card games and cooking up meals. Locations perfect being secluded yet within 10 minutes of anything you’d need. Hot tub was nice and clean. Only thing that was an issue was the kitchen sink leaked but things like that happen with older homes. We let the owner know once we found out.

The cabin is rustic but very roomy and cozy. Beds were really comfortable and the view is spectacular. The location was great as it felt secluded in the mountain but all amenities- restaurants, stores and highways were only 5 minutes away. The deck and hot tub were relaxing. The only downside was it was dusty with some cobwebs and lots of wasps outside and a few bugs and wasps got in. The grill was also a tiny campsite type grill and we couldn’t find a top grate so never got to use it. Great value for the money and our group didn’t have allergies or asthma so we did fine and had a great week enjoying all the outdoor activities nearby- golfing, rafting, boating on Douglas Lake and hiking.

The views are spectacular! Has a real cabin feel everything is wood and rustic. Secluded but very easy to get to with plenty of parking.

The tv did not work could only watch like two channels. Wasps that my wife is deathly allergic to kept getting in the cabin. Could not enjoy the hot tub because of wasps. I would not recommend staying here. I’m

We loved everything about our stay. Not far from attractions yet could come back to cabin, hot tub, quietness, and amazing views! You get feel of private but within few minutes of food and shopping. Definitely recommend!

Winter getaway

We loved the place. We liked how it was close to town but yet when you were at the house it felt like you were in the middle of no where. The house reminded me of a family hunting cabin my family had. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Can’t wait to come back

Pictures don’t do the view justice

Had a great long weekend Fall mini vacation at this well kept cabin. Newport is a nice town not too far from pigeon forge or Gatlinburg. Brought our dog and we had a peaceful time. Private and secluded, but close enough to the town. Driveway is a steep paved path to a nice getaway. The hot tub was well maintained. No complaints would stay again.
