Quiet Sanctuary

Outstanding.

This property and its location are both outstanding. All you could wish for. We've stayed in a few Vrbo's they are all good but this one was so perfect for us. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Good work everyone involved.

We will be returning! Wonderful Stay

This place is as pictured and described ,just beautiful and the views are amazing I couldn’t stop staring out the windows. The guest house is very accommodating, and my 4 year old didn’t want to leave as was so many fun games & he loved the zip wire. We went in April so lots of young lambs and my son was happy he got to bottle feed a few. Bethan greeted us on arrival ,and that was a nice touch and showed us round and made sure we got settled in ok. We managed to see and do so much in our 2 night stay , but still enjoy the property. Thank you for our lovely holiday.

Beautiful and Welcoming

The setting for this guest flat is stunning. Beautiful walking areas right outside the door. The unit was well equipped and more spacious then we were expecting. The hosts were welcoming. and helpful in every way. We were able to easily explore some of the castles and larger towns in Wales using this as our home base. Cannot wait to return !

What a great find. This is an amazing farm house retreat in a fantastic location and lovely hosts x

My partner and I rented this property for 4-nights which wasn’t enough for us. What a fantastic farm house full of original character and charm. To compliment this the kitchen has all all the up to date gadgets required for self catering and the bathroom / shower is fantastic. The bed is so comfortable I struggled to get up some mornings! The views from all the windows are spectacular especially from the window seat in the dinning room ~ perfect for relaxing. The garden is a gem with amazing views from the decked area and includes a swing, zip-wire and game. We are definitely going to stay for a week next year and I can see us becoming regular visitors. Huw and Bethan are great hosts, thank you xx

Plas Yn Yale

The accommodation is superb - clean, spacious, and very well equipped with breathtaking views from every window. Huw and Bethan were wonderful hosts; very welcoming and always on hand for useful advice and local information but never intrusive. The location was fabulous. There is plenty to do and see in the area. The first must do is to climb the hill behind the house and really enjoy the view! Absolutely five stars!

So tranquil

If you are looking for somewhere to stay away from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of the sheep in the fields. Huw and Bethan were so friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Huw's father was lovely and we had a couple of conversations with him. We only wish we had seen him more often! The property was so well equipped. We wanted for nothing. And the beds were very comfortable too. A good night's sleep is guaranteed. The zip wire was great fun even for a 72 year old! After a long day out and about it was very relaxing to just sit out on the decking and enjoy the surroundings. We used Llangollen as our base. There is so much to do, so many places to go that we would have loved to have stayed for another week. Our only regret was it was the wrong time of year for the bluebells. We we would wholeheartedly recommend this as a place to stay.

Fantastic property inside and out

Such a fantastic find, your farm is beautiful, loads to do on the doorstep and really comfortable accommodation. The kitchen was really well stocked, and you were very generous in the supplies provided. The kids appreciated the games chest but most of all they loved the garden, and the swing, zip wire and trampoline! Many hours of fun. Thank you, we would definitely return.

We fell in love with this place. The surroundings are stunning, with lots to do and places to explore. Plas yn ial is the perfect base - a real home from home. Comfortable, cosy, clean, well equipped property. The garden is amazing - child friendly and lots of fun. We were made to feel very welcome. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

comfortable house

we felt comfortable in this very old house, comfy bed, great view out of the big old windows of the mountain opposite, working sheep farm. my trip to visit my ninety year old cousin was problem-free and very Welsh. Rosie's cider just along the road is good too
