True Italian Experience!

The stay was wonderful! Massimiliano invited us into his home, but also his family history of the estate. The villa has the charm and personality that you want in a Tuscan Villa. The villa was really clean, including the pool which was cared for throughout the day. The host was helpful in ordering food and in making local reservations. He also provided some special Italian treats along the way! Thank you for a beautiful week!

Family Italy trip

Massimiliano was an excellent host. Always helping to find reservations& directions. Beds are very firm. Listing failed to mention there were 2 flights of concrete stairs to 4 of the bedrooms. Excellent pool for the family.

Perfekter Toskana Urlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit! Die Villa ist sehr schön und ruhig an einem Olivenhain gelegen. Ein Aussensitzplatz, sowie auch eine Wiese mit Grillplatz (und im Sommer ein Pool) laden zum Verweilen ein. Der Besitzer Massimiliano ist sehr gastfreundlich und gab uns wertvolle Empfehlungen bezüglich Restaurants, Windegustationen und vielen anderen Aktivitäten der Umgebung, sowie auch historische Informationen zu der Region. Die Villa ist ausserdem ideal gelegen für Ausflüge nach Arrezo, Siena, Florenz, Montepluciano etc. Wir würden die Antica Villa degli Ulivi wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden uns freuen in Zukunft weitere Urlaube dort zu verbringen.

Beautiful Property

5 of us stayed at this lovely property and it was perfect. The property was clean and beautiful and our hosts were fantastic. They were available for any needs we might have and made us the most delicious Italian meal. We were so lucky to have stayed here. Couldn't recommend it more! Very close to the town and to many beautiful wineries. We were lucky to get a private tour of a winery and vineyard. We had a wonderful time!

Fantastic holiday

We spent a wonderful week. The owners were incredible; so friendly and kind. Their love of their home and the area shone through. We’ve never stayed anywhere so welcoming. The facilities were super abc we’d love to come back to explore the area. High recommend.

Exceeded all expectations

It's impossible to describe the amazing experience our 3 families had during our time at Villa Antica, and to attribute what made it so very special. The house and garden was the exact kind of place I'd always dreamed of staying at on a holiday to Tuscany. We had beautiful rooms, comfy beds, great a/c and views to die for plus a beautiful pool. Then on top of that we had Massimo, our host, so full of life and positivity, and so very genuine, plus his lovely wife, his sister, his brother in law and nephew. All so lovely and kind and attentive. Aswell as our welcome meal on our second evening that they cooked and served to us they also delivered an amazing birthday celebration meal on our last evening that we paid for. It was amazing!

Wonderful Tuscany Experience

We were a group of 12 friends. Masimilliano and family were so warm and welcoming and so happy to allow us the use of the property. The welcome dinner was amazing and if you stay, ask for Italian dance lessons!!!!! 😊 Thanks so much for a great time on our Italy vacation.

Urlaub in der Toscana

Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub in einer tollen Region. Wir hatten neben den Schlafzimmern eine ganz tolle Küche ein Spielzimmer ein Wohnzimmer und ein Rises großes Esszimmer mit Platz für zwölf Personen. Beim Blick durch das Fenster konnten wir die Region Toskana wunderbar beobachten im September war aller tollstes Wetter. Leider war wie lt. Beschreibung nicht die Villa Pergo, Sondern die Villa Antica. Es war aber das Haus was wir gemietet hatten. Die Straßenbezeichnung müsste korrigiert werden.

Spectacular visit !

The hosts went above and beyond to welcome us with a delicious welcome dinner. The villa was beautifully restored and meticulously maintained.. It was the perfect way to experience Tuscany ! It is located minutes to Cortona and a great starting point to visit many other destinations in the region. We enjoyed every minute !

Best villa near Cortona

Massimiliano and his family were incredibly helpful and welcoming before and during our stay at the villa. Their welcome dinner the first night set the tone for a gracious, fun week. The salt water pool was amazing and it was a perfect way to end a warm day exploring the Tuscan hills. Massimiliano provided transportation for our group of 6 from the Camucia train station and stocked the fridge with essentials to get us through the first morning. Any small requests were always handled quickly and with enthusiasm. We have rarely experienced hosts that were so accessible and proud of their home, yet despite them living in separate quarters on site, we never felt any intrusion. In fact, we looked forward to seeing them every day, watering the flowers, tending the pool, playing with the dog. Pure heaven. The villa is well equipped, A/C worked well and beds and linens very good. Big plus there is a washer on site and plenty of outdoor hanging space. Clothes dry under the Tuscan Sun very quickly. This is one of the best vacations to Italy we've ever had. We hosted a catered dinner at the villa on our last night. Massimiliano and his family joined us under the huge chestnut tree to celebrate our new found "family". Best night of the trip. Highly recommend this villa, built in 1642 and lovingly renovated a couple years ago. Five stars!!

The perfect destination

This is a majestic property, perfectly situated a short distance form Cortona is steeped in history yet equipped with every possible modern appliance. and convenience. The welcome is second to none and nothing is too much trouble for Masamilliano and his beautiful family. The private swimming pool and gardens are the finest and the views across the valley are unrivalled. It is the perfect destination for the most discerning guests seeking the highest quality in accommodation and privacy.
