"Charming cottage, conveniently situated near Stonehenge and other related sites. It was a great base for us to explore the area. The cottage had all we needed to be comfortable - plenty of space, comfortable beds and well equipped. The village has a great pub (The Plume of Feathers). We were there on a Sunday evening when it is usually shut, but the landlord said he would open the kitchen just for us!! "The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off.
