Cute back patio but that’s about it

Back patio is adorable and right on the waterfront and they provided nice towels for the pool. The rest of it was a major letdown. A/C didn’t work properly, one bedroom was frigid and the other bedroom was too warm (we checked the vents to be sure they were open). Sheets were scratchy and didn’t seem to be freshly cleaned which was upsetting. Some of the dishes were dirty. Showers were also not clean and the water pressure was aggressive, borderline painful in one of them. Fridge wasn’t fully cleaned out, there was no laundry in-unit as it said in the listing, and the list goes on. Just seemed as though the owner is not very concerned with the quality of their rental, which is a bummer because it seemed like it would be a good place for us to stay. Pretty upset considering the rental rate. Hoping they fix these issues for guests in the future.

False claims

The unit we agreed to stay at did not have a washer/dryer as advertised. The unit had the bare basics and no towel hooks in one bathroom. The furniture was in disrepair. Unit was not very comfortable as indicated. We were both sick with colds/flu which didn’t help. Hopefully our next trip will be better.😁

Water line being fixed with no communication

On my second day of the stay the water was turned off with no communication. I needed to shower for a meeting so ended up needing to rent another hotel room . The plumbers were there the day before so this wasn’t an emergency fix. If it had been communicated to me I could have worked around the issue.

Oldie but Goodie

This property was older and a little rough around the edges (garge door and flooring to patio) but perfect for our family of 4. Very basic but has everything you need. Beds and furniture were comfortable and location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We would stay here again.

Quick trip

It was our last weekend before our foreign exchange student leaves & we could only stay 1 night. I’m so glad this unit didn’t have a minimum stay. The condo was up to date & very clean. It definitely served its purpose. The fishing piers were a plus. The pool was nice & clean. The condo was adequately stocked with kitchen utensils & cooking pots/pans. The condo sleeps 6, but only has a table for 4. The only thing I would change is the community washer/dryer…it’s way more convenient when the condo has a washer/dryer. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Good location for fishing

The over all cleaning was good, there were dirty dishes in the cabinets, and the inside of the cabinets were dirty. We rented for the dock and access to the water. The dock is in need of some repairs to make it truly safe. For out short visit it was good.

Run down unit

Check in email stated a boat trailer parking pass would be in the condo and I also confirmed via text. Arrived to no parking pass. The person that answered the phone was helpful but the parking pass wasn’t delivered until 11am the following morning. In hall bathtub, the water comes out both the shower and tub faucet, the shower divert is broken. Dishes still in the dishwasher upon arrival (along with a cockroach). Run down unit, won’t be renting again.

Great place. Would stay at again.

Only critique is water pressure low in en suite bathroom sink faucet and remote controls for TVs missing or not working. Should have instructions on what is for what and how to use and make sure each tv has their remote and that they work. Otherwise, super!

Our stay

we really enjoyed our stay. However, it appeared that the thermostat was being turned up from another person. We would lower the temp and a few minutes later the temp would adjust itself. On a different note, the neighbors in 247 that came on 5-22-20 were very noisy and slamming things around during the night up until 3:30 in the morning.

Impromptu beach trip

Had family come to Dallas and wanted to see a Texas beach. The property and location was excellent. Served its purpose for what we needed. Would rent the property again.
