The location was awesome. The cabana needs attention. The screens were torn and cushions were too dirty to use. The shower was too small and the floor inside the shower needs to be fixed. Had to clean the ac filters. The golf cart is a must,reasonable and close by.

The location is good, can walk to most restaurants and it's close enough to the beach to walk but a car or cart is recommended if you are taking a bunch things. We really enjoyed the screened in gazebo. Such a relaxing space. Check in was easy and kitchen had enough dishes and utensils to make some easy meals. Mattress was too soft. However, overall we had a great stay.

Cottage with cabana

Close to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed being able to relax in the cabana and not worry about mosquitos. The fenced yard was also a bonus.

No sleep

Never have I offered a complaint about one of my Verbo rentals… and admittedly, my choices are usually on a more expensive rental; however, I have never experienced such an uncomfortable bed - ever. In an effort to possibly improve renters experience a terrible poorly fiopad was put on top of a bad mattress .

Great Place

Exactly what you think it’ll be!

The property was awesome! The Cabana is worth it in itself. If you’re a hot sleeper, it can be a little warm at night but nothing a fan can’t fix!

Management Experience

The management company sent us to the wrong property and when I finally had contact , was told I would get a call back and never received a call…had to figure out where I was staying on my own! Finally got a call on check out day and was accused of still being in the property at 11:45 when we were clearly gone! Poor management!!!!

Unfortunately, never again…

Roaches (tree roaches, red roaches (in coffee pot) black roaches, and a weird beetle on the comforter) I have pics of all bugs and it was everyday. Called twice and their comment was…thanks for reminding us to go back out there to spray?!? Told them I was the only one and no pet, they did not remove pet fee. Maintenance men entered the back gate without announcing, my door was unlocked and I had just got out of shower. It’s a great property, but the lack of cleanliness due to roaches, etc., extremely poor costumer service, due to Sand Key Realty because of the indifference from the realty company due to items listed above.

Relaxing Oasis

We truly enjoyed our stay, easy to locate, easy to access, and easy checkout. The cabana was the favorite feature for sure. We spent most of our time there. Very peaceful and relaxing. Clean and nicely decorated. Had all the creature comforts. Thank you!! We will return!

Left after 1 day

We checked in easily and settled in for our week long stay. Unfortunately we ended up leaving the next day. We realized it was a colder than usual for Port A but the cottage had no heat, no TV service and no hot water. We called the office in the morning and they brought 2 small space heaters but with no water etc we asked to be relocated to another rental unit with no issues. They were unable to accommodate us and agreed to refund our money. We have used this management company previously and will do so in the future. The owner agreed to also refund our money.

Excellent Little Cottage

My husband and I booked this little cottage for our Thanksgiving vacation. It was exactly as described and more than I expected. The property was very clean and smelled great when we checked in. The yard, both front and back, were very well manicured. The additional cabana was amazing even though it was cold and rainy the whole week we were there. The entire backyard is fenced very well; it kept my dachshund in without fear of him being able to escape as many of the other fences in the same community aren't as secure for small dogs. The two TVs both had a Roku device where you can login to your streaming services. The TV in the living room/kitchen area has cable, as well. Wi-Fi was snappy so streaming on the Roku and browsing the web on our phones was easy peasy lemon squeezy. I drink tea every morning and was pleasantly surprised when I found a kettle in the cabinet. The coffee pot worked as expected so my husband could have his morning coffee. The location is excellent. Port Aransas isn't a very large area, but there are a ton of restaurants within walking distance. There's a ton of shopping nearby, too. Beach access is super easy to get to. Check-In and Check-Out were really easy - the property had a lockbox where we both retrieved and secured the key. The only negatives were that the shower was on the small side with a low-ish showerhead, and the bed was a bit soft for our taste. These two things didn't really affect our stay as we were still able to shower, it just took a bit getting used to. We still slept great as the bed is very comfy, just a bit soft for our taste. Overall: 10/10 would stay here again.

Unique cottage

A great out of the ordinary place to stay and relax. Clean. Comfy mattress. Nice functional kitchen. Quiet complex, walking distance to restaurants, etc. The cabana is awesome! Will hopefully be back.
