Great stay!

This is our second time staying at Sandpiper. Our unit was clean, well-furnished & had a great view of the ocean. We love that this property is near Port A, but not in Port A so the beach is not crowded. We will be back!

Horrible Experience, Stay ruined by loud construction and rude management

Before arriving our room was changed twice by management, probably by people trying to avoid the horrible construction noise. The manager placed us right underneath and the noise was extreme from 8 am to 7 pm. We could not even talk in the room and it was not usable during those times. Our autistic son was in tears and the manager refused to reimburse us since he had no open units. He said it was "fine" that the noise made unit unusable 8 am to 7 pm. We had to leave early the next day due to the noise, another family stayed two floors below also left early due to migraines from the unsafe levels of drilling noise. Ruined our vacation for sure. I asked the manager for someone else to speak with about this issue and he hung up the phone on me.

Perfect Getaway

This was our fist family stay right on the oceanfront and it was nothing short of amazing! The view is amazing, I got to enjoy my morning coffee while watching the sunrise and listening to the waves. We have 3 children and I loved how child friendly the condo was. It had a small you box and many games, but our favorite was the checkers by the window! The beach was very clean, and I think it was the time of yeas (October) but also very quiet, we had pretty much the whole beach to ourselves! We definitely would stay again!

The pictures did not lie. The condo was beautiful. The complex and support staff were friendly. Easy access to the beautiful beach. Wonderful dining options. We will be back.

Convenient Location

We appreciated the friendliness of the front desk workers and we loved how convenient the location was to the beach. Our main issues were the umbrella rental service and the “AC repair” being done in the suite next door between 10-11pm which was right next to the room my kids were using and impacted their sleep. For the umbrella rental service- The email correspondence for the umbrella rentals told us they picked up at 5:30, but the workers picked up ours at 4:40pm. Another family let us use theirs that hadn’t been picked up yet but at 5pm the workers took those as well which was a pain since I had a 6 week old baby I was trying to protect from the sun while still giving him some breeze. The employees didn’t handle the situation well either given the situation. They could have saved our spot for last since we could clearly see other umbrellas were still out and given us at least an extra five minutes for my 5yr old to play, but they didn’t care. The front desk didn’t charge us but the memory was already ruined by our interaction with the workers picking up. AC repairs noise- 10:20p We had assumed the noise was from construction but the front desk said all contractors were already gone for the day and would follow up. Noise continued so I called back and was told it was AC Repair. It was very loud and sounded like someone was sanding and drilling the wall next door. The next night it happened again and it was not fun trying to sooth a bawling 6wk old through the noise.

The perfect oceanfront experience!

Endless ocean waves and soothing sound! So relaxing! Our unit was done up to a very high standard, and more complete kitchen and dining items I’ve ever seen. The beds were very comfortable as were the couches. All in all, a very pleasant experience! We will certainly be back!

Great place for a getaway

The staff at Sandpiper are excellent. Very clean and well maintained property. Our condo did not disappoint. Very roomy with an awesome view. We weren’t aware the beach was public. So we were surprised at the amount of vehicle traffic on the beach. Not a detractor but was a surprise.

Very relaxing and welcoming with excellent location on the beach. Great for multigenerational families! Great free beach amenities. Plan on earning a lot of meals in due to distance to restaurants and shopping.

Beautiful Condo on the Beach!

My first thought upon entering was, "Ahhhh, refreshing!" The condo is beautifully decorated and the space is used very well. We loved long walks on the beach, watching the sun rise from the balcony, working puzzles on the table and even got in a little sunbathing at the pool (in early December)! I'd absolutely stay there again next time we visit Port A!
