Cute Tidy Condo!

This condo was perfect for our quick trip to the coast. There are two bedrooms with King size beds and both had an adjoining bathroom with shower, etc. The location is just inside the complex and parking was very convenient. The pool is just a few short steps from the condo and was a nice place to hang out after a day at the beach. The location is close to the beach and next to a Valero gas station which was convenient for snacks and ice. We have no complaints! The only staff I interacted with was the maintenance guy and he was very nice and helpful! Overall great place to stay!

Surprisingly big and spacious

Enjoyed my time with my husband and kids. Close to the pool and down the way from shopping , food and beach. Overall very pleasant experience.

Memorial Weekend Fishing Trip

Stayed at the property with my wife and son for memorial day weekend. Very nice and spacious unit. The space met our expectations. Very convenient parking included.

Clean place to stay

Family of 4 (kids 15 & 11) on a short weekend trip. We had family with an RV parked on the beach so we just needed a place to sleep. This place was roomy and clean. Short drive to beach. The only complaints we had were… tv remotes in bedrooms and plugs in master bedroom did not work and the beds were not the most comfortable .

Had a wonderful and quite stay. The space between the rooms was great. Close to several places to shop and grab a bite to eat.

Had a fantastic time here. Grounds, pool and landscaping are absolutely beautiful. Severely over priced, though, but we wanted the get away so we took it.

Annual Trip

The Property was beautiful and perfect for our family. The only negative I’d say would be the clientele of people there at the property, lots of teenagers running around with bad language and inappropriate conversations had in front of our children and the community pool. The atmosphere was beautiful and very relaxing.

My only complaint is that the pools were not clean so we did not get to use those. Getting sun was one of the main reasons we came to Port A, so that was disappointing. But the overall experience and rental unit were great. We would definitely come back!

I only had 2 gripes. 1- the pool needed to be cleaned and 2- the can openers did not work. Otherwise, I would definately recommend this place to everybody.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great... nice place, good location with the exception of the beds. Both of the beds were extremely hard... got very little sleep. This was the consensus of all three people that used the beds. The sleeper sofa wasn't much better... it was lumpy and you could actually feel the springs. Sorry to be a downer... great place, but wouldn't rent it again because of the beds.

Fabulous Beach Vaca!!!

The place we stayed The Ahoy Matey was awesome. Best of all it was really clean! I loved the outdoor sitting area where we had coffee ever morning. We were only minutes away from the beach, stores,resturants and shopping. I have already recommended this place to my friends and family. It's also pet friendly which is a huge plus for me.Thanks to Port A Escapes Ms. Brenda for finding us this remarkable place in such a short time. We Loved It and can't wait to go back.

Great place for port a vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great place to stay. Everything was nice and had everything you needed for a pleasant vacation. We really liked the private community pool and kids playground, along with several bbq pits. Only wish the check-in time was earlier. We arrived to port a at 1:00 and had to drive around with our luggage until 4:00. I would recommend this place to anyone, it is awesome!

Why would a guest bring garbage bags?

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was happy with the property until I discovered that while staying at a high end property, I was expected to not only provide toilet paper & garbage bags, but if I didn't take my garbage out back, I would be fined $50.00!!!! I have stayed many places & have never encountered this. I will not recommend this property for this reason.
