We had an amazing stay in Discovery Coron, celebrating my father's bday! The staff are very helpful and very accommodating! The beach is so private and very relaxing! I will definitely be back here!!!!!

If you don't want the busy high traffic tourist area areas of Palawan, but still want the great experience then I definitely recommend discovery coron. It's on its own private island, but there is free pick up and drop off from the airport. It's a short ride from the airport to the boat and then probably about a 25 minute boat ride to the island. The first thing you will notice is you see the island is the beautiful white beaches of the island itself. The staff members were all very friendly and everyone is helpful. I definitely recommend one of the oceanfront rooms, where you walk off your front porch and ride onto the beach. The food was good, although a bit pricey at the restaurant there. Of course, being the only option for food, they can get away with charging it though but as long as you don't go crazy ordering, it's affordable enough. I can definitely see myself staying here again and was only sad that I was there for one night only.

Die Lage auf der Insel ist traumhaft. Ca eine Stunde vom Flughafen entfernt. 30 Minuten Auto und 30 Minuten Boot. Die Bungalows direkt am Strand sind wirklich toll.

We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay. Setting was stunning, with the beautiful beach and sea. 2 lovely pools, free rental for kayaks, paddle boards and snorkels. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were exceptional, especially Acea who worked in the restaurants. Food in the restaurants at night was very nice but breakfast wasnt to my taste. Trees full of fruit bats were a special treat.

Great location if you’re looking for a relaxing spot. The beach and water is amazing. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms are clean but the Air Conditioning is a bit loud..

The marine environment is truly fantastic. However, the breakfast seems to seriously need improvement. Lunch and dinner were expensive, but they were delicious. Once, my room key didn't work, and since it was too far to go to the front desk, I asked a passing staff member to call someone. He said he would, but he didn't take any action. The rest had many friendly staff members.

My wife and I first visited Discovery Coron (then Club Paradise) in May 2013. 5 stars, nothing but praise at that time, for the facilities, staff, restaurant, and beaches. We returned in April 2022, and what a change. In my review then, I pointed out problems with the staff in terms of communications and ability to provide service, in pre-trip arrangements, at reception, and at the restaurant. The facilities needed maintenance, the grounds needed cleaning. Our room was in poor condition. The island was still beautiful and tranquil, but it was such a disappointment to see the changes to a previously wonderful resort. After that review I was contacted by the General Manager, Mr. Joegil Escobar. I felt his was an honest response and that he understood the need for improvement. From recent reviews, it seemed that most of the problems had been addressed; Discovery Coron again seemed like a good place to visit, this time with my son and his family, including our 3-year old grandson. We could not have been happier with our choice to return. From excellent communications post booking, to our airport pickup, reception, service from the staff, everything was easy and wonderful. The happy and welcoming spirit was back with the staff. We, and especially our toddler, were treated wonderfully. The facilities are again in top shape, our room was well cared for and very clean. Both food and service in the restaurant were well enjoyed. Same for the PADI dive shop and Glow spa. Well done!

We has a great time at Discovery Coron. The staff were friendly and very accommodating starting from the airport pick up, transport to the hotel and the hotel check in/check out. However, my daughter was bitten by what appears to be bed bug bites all over her leg, feet and arms. We had 2 rooms booked, but she stayed at 3106. Her bed was closest to the double doors. We’d like to notify the hotel to investigate/remedy the issue so it does not happen to other guests.

The Filipino staff are very polite, respectful, and always ready to help. That really stood out and should definitely be kept. It’s also a big plus that guests don’t need to rent kayaks or paddleboards separately - having the fins included adds extra convenience.
