The management company paid especially great attention for everything at the home. The family enjoyed all the features, volleyball, swimming, hot tub and games provided to entertain the kiddo's. Highly recommend!

Great house and location to beach!

The house was perfect for our stay! We had 11 guests with us and plenty of space to roam and have our own space when wanted. The hot tub and pool were clean and well maintained. The volleyball net with sanded areas was a lot of fun. The house was clean and equipped with most needs. There were a few minor things that could have been fixed such as the mid floor main bathrooms shower curtain was torn off of a few hooks. The glass top of the stove is cracked which was kind scary to use, afraid it may crack more and cause glass to shatter. Otherwise the walk to the beach was two short blocks away so made for a nice little walk. Close to grocery store, shopping and food. We would definitely consider renting this house again in the future.

PLEASE READ if you are thinking of renting this place. After traveling 6 hours we had finally came to our rental place around 2.40 pm. I looked around to see if the place was ready. NOPE, IT WAS NOT. So, I called VASACA customer service. The lady picked the phone up and I explained. She said, “it is too early to panic” and I had an hour and a half to check in. I said, “there is no way this place will by ready by 4pm” and I waited. The cleaning crew showed up @3.20 pm and left @4.15 pm. When we walked in: 1. The dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes. 2. No trash bags. 3. All the utensils were greasy in the drawer. 4. Gum was stuck on the carpet. 5. The dresser left with some previous renters’ clothes. 6. Not enough kitchen gadgets (please make sure you bring all your stuff) 7. The mattresses were old and soooo uncomfortable. 8. The Wi-fi password was not what they sent in the email. 9. The toilet seat was broken. I had spoken to 3 different ladies explaining how UNHAPPY I was. So please please don’t waste your money.

Property was in excellent location. Pool and hot tub was a great added extra. Walk to beach Great having linens and towels. Carpet and floors could have been cleaner and bathroom in common room/living room could have been cleaner but overall was a great vacation

Great location but house needs some work.

The house could have been cleaner; Windows dirty. Air filters on intake vents filthy. We had to replace those in order to stop wheezing. Used tooth brush on door lintel in one bedroom; used Qtip in one bathroom. Mattresses were all uncomfortable. House has no broom. Some pans in bad condition-- no-stick surface peeling. Pool had odd orange discoloration at water line and anything white worn in pool was stained orange. Furniture on top deck was sparse-- one chair in addition to picnic table and benches.

Nice property for vacation

Really liked the cleanliness of the house and neighborhood area. Adequate kitchen, bath and bedroom supplies were given. TVs were in most of the rooms with cable connection. Fast WiFi. No interaction during check-in/check-out and was easy. Part of the outer bank beach can be seen from the house. Good customer service.

Quick getaway

This house was great and very comfortable for our group of adults and kids. Was not very updated but we were aware of that on booking so we didn’t mind at all. Plenty of beds. Loved watching the sunrise from the top floor. We got so lucky with the weather being kind of cool letting us enjoy the beach for long hours with little kids, but that made it difficult for us to use the pool since it was shaded by early afternoon - so when we actually wanted to use it in the afternoon after a day at the beach it was FREEZING!!! I’m sure when it’s middle of summer AND there wasn’t just a hurricane, the pool stays warm all day and night so we just missed out on that opportunity! The furniture around the pool area were also very worn, could definitely use some upgrading. We did enjoy the hot tub which as a surprise as we didn’t realize there was one! Another unfortunate aspect was the flooding on a large part of the street on the way to the beach - literally the street with beach access. Having kids and beach stuff it was not convenient to walk through the water to the closest beach access. We did walk further to the non-street walkway to the next beach access which made for a nice evening activity. It would great to know the flooding between the house and the beach access was taken care of before considering this house and neighborhood again. As far as amenities, it would’ve be awesome to have the volleyball court kept up and a volleyball provided. Then there’s a basketball hoop with no basketball...and there was a set of corn hole boards and the bags were ruined from rain. While we were not planning to have any of these activities available to us, if they are there, it makes sense they should be useable. All in all we had a very wonderful weekend, the house had all the things we needed!

House could have been cleaner and needs updating. Sleeper sofa was broken and slept poorly . The kitchen was nice. Hot tub and pool were nice. Screens in one of the doors was out and the outside decking needs replacing. It’s close to not being safe. Beach access was fine. Corolla Classic Vacations did a good job for us. Would book through them again. Bill Davenport
