Great Getaway Spot!

Our family really enjoyed this wonderful beach house. It was the perfect size for us and our dog with 3 nicely decorated bedrooms, one with a lovely balcony that provided multiple opportunities to stargaze. The kitchen was stocked with all that you need for cooking and there are lots of choices of seating for your morning coffee or gatherings for meals. The property has mature trees and flowering bushes that provide lovely shade and privacy on the outer perimeter beyond the fence line. The pool and hot tub area was one of our favorite places to relax. There’s lots of space in the carport area and everything you may need for the walk to the beach is provided in the storage room. The management company was very responsive when we noticed a loose step on the back deck. They had someone stop by within an hour to fix it and they followed up to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely return to this spot for our next beach getaway! We loved this home!

Great property for a small family.

Spent a long weekend here with my husband son, and Labrador. We found the layout and location of the house very convenient. Easy walk to the beach, and right out the backyard and across the street to groceries etc. We are very familiar with this neighborhood, and like the beach in this area a lot. Very nice small pool with this house, nice fenced yard. However, I wouldn’t choose to use a rental company instead of an individual owner again. We stay through VRBO a lot, both in the Outer Banks and elsewhere. We have not done a Vrbo managed by a rental company. It was frankly kind of a hassle. Usually with Vrbo, all communications are electronic, you put through the payment on the website and you’redone, messaging with the owner is sufficient for any questions or issues. In this case, the rental companies needed to send me a contract which I then had to sign and scan and send back like it was 1993. They wanted to talk on the phone. They needed us to stop by the office and pick up a packet when we arrived on the Outer Banks. Then, when we were leaving, they called to ask me when I was returning the keys, although there were no physical keys to the property, just like a code, because again-not 1993. It’s not that the company was unpleasant, but all these extra steps are not why I use Vrbo. I just think it’s fair to know – it’s clear on tap that’s it’s a rental company, but it was not clear to me all these extra steps I would have to take, and I wouldn’t do it again.

Loved our stay at Here Comes The Sun!

We've stayed at this property a number of times over the past few years and it never disappoints! Love the changes the new owners have made to the house! This home is in a great location - a short walk to the beach and very close to restaurants and shopping. The pool is perfect - our kids have so much fun in it after a day at the beach. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great Vacation Home

The house was more then what i expected. It looked better in person. The pool was perfect and secluded. Everything was clean! The fenced in area was perfect for our dog. Short walk to the beach, overall great area. Cannot wait to stay again!

Perfect Place!

This house is great for a small group. It is a very short walk to the beach; owners provide chairs, etc for the beach. Great pool to lounge by after a day on the sand. Grocery store, ice cream and a couple of small restaurants are a short walk. You can truly park your car and not get back in it all week!

Nice and convenient!

House was recently updated and very clean. Great fenced in yard for dogs. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything necessary to create and serve meals. Pool was very nice as was the outdoor furniture. The decks were nice but the wood is weathered and should were footwear to avoid splinters. Location is convenient to shopping and a couple hundred yards from the beach access. We really enjoyed the property. Listing originally included hot tub but we received notice a month or so before our rental it was no longer on property. Overall it’s a very nice home in a convenient location.

Perfect getaway for our family

We loved this property....it was clean, just the right size for our family of 5 (two parents, one teen, one child and a dog), and the location was perfect (short walk to grocery store and starbucks, even shorter walk to the beach...less then 5 minutes for each.) Our favorite part was the privacy - the pool was tucked back behind the property so no one could walk by and look in, and we didn't hear anything from neighboring houses. It was perfect!!

Nice OBX Getaway

The house worked out great for our purposes. The pool was great, and the beach was just a short walk away. My only complaints are that the initial cleaning of the house wasn't great. I wouldn't have called it dirty upon check-in, but my wife would say otherwise. I recomend the property, but you'll need give things a good wipedown yourself before you can truly start to enjoy it.

Pandemic vacation

The property was overall very good. A little run down, but clean and pretty well furnished, especially the kitchen, for a rental. Good location close to the beach, although close to the road and you can hear traffic from the pool and the deck (but not in the house). Pool was very nice and great to have. The listing says the property has a hot tub, but that must be a reference to the jetted tub in the bathroom, as there is no hot tub. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

We loved staying at the Stardust. the location was private -tucked in the back of the neighborhood. We were walking distance to the beach and to the grocery store. The house had everything possible. Pool, hot tub, every cooking appliance, grills and a hammock. We really loved this spot!

Great location and lots to do

Looking forward to returning. Great location near beach and grocery store. Nice biking trails, tennis court, kayaking, and short drive to see the wild horses. Family friendly area.

Great Week!!

The pics of the house were right on. The house was perfect for a family of 5. My 3 boys loved having the upstairs w there rooms and TVs! Great pool area with fenced yard for the 2 dogs. Thank you for a great relaxing week only a quick walk to the beach and shopping.
