Enjoyed our time, the house was great. No major issues. The small refrigerator in the basement wasn’t working and someone arrived to take a look at it within an hour of the email being sent. We ended up leaving early because of hurricane Erin, weren’t sure what to expect.

This was a wonderful property and we had a great stay. Can't give it a 5, but I'd do 4.5 if I could! Elevator was great and a super benefit for my husband and me (the grandparents) as we were both having mobility issues. We were able to manage the stairs over the dunes though-- in part because we didn't have to trudge the ones at the house all the time. Easy walk to the beach-access walkway, as well as to the community pool and tennis/pickleball nets. Loved how the dining table accommodated the 12-13 of us. We used the rental credit for four bikes, and they were well used. Downsides: Toilets not all cleaned when we arrived; I wondered if it had been vacant for awhile, because I know toilet bowls can get rings around water line when there's no one using them for awhile. Suggestion: Cleanliness should be checked by rental agent.It was great to have room around the dining table for all of us, and I wished there were sufficient chairs on the deck that we might have all sat around out there together.

Love 70 Steps

Beautiful home, perfect set up for our family ranging from grandparents to young families with toddlers to young adults. Kitchen is super well stocked with gadgets, pots, pans, glassware, dishes. We cooked all week and loved it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Family vacation

The house was a great size and layout for multiple families. The location close to the beach was perfect and the neighborhood kid friendly. Loved biking to some local restaurants and businesses, flying kites in the morning, watching whales from the shore, relaxing on the patio and walking the beach! Wonderful trip!

70 Steps

Everything was perfect. We highly recommend this place and plan to go back. Elevator was such a plus for our Mother and also for groceries. In case people are curious, there are are handful of beach chairs at the house (I think 6 or 7).

Ideal Location

This house had the perfect layout for our family of 9 and an ideal location. Literally steps to the beach and it was great to ride our bikes to town so we didn’t have to worry about parking. The property was very clean upon arrival and both check in and check out was a breeze. We look forward to renting this property again in the future.

Very nice home close to the beach with swimming pool

The property was very nice to stay at. It included an elevator, which was great for my father-in-law who wouldn't have been able to use the stairs. It includes a pool and is super close to the beach. The only negative comments I have are, I received an email less than 48 hours of our stay, stating that they needed the names, ages and IDs of all the people who were staying at the property and if we didn't provide they would deactivate the entry code. It said they had trouble with people before who didn't take care of the property, but we are family coming down with small kids and some of us had already left a day in advance. It was a bit of an aggressive email to send in such short notice and to say they would deactive entry code was really unneccessary. Also there were no beach toys or toys for the pool and only a few chairs for the beach. For how much we pay for such a nice property I would have expected more stuff to be supplied there. However, it still was a very nice, clean property and very close to the beach!

Perfect

Me and 11 of my family members stayed at this property. The cleaning crew was still present upon arrival and they were so helpful & polite. The house had everything we needed. Age range 9 months to 87 years. With 4 floors the elevator made it possible for my grandmother to be where she wanted throughout home. Will def be renting again in the future.

A Good Find

The home was laid out beautifully to accommodate our family of 8 adults for a week. Nice furnishings, well stocked kitchen, enjoyed time in the pool and hot tub. View of the ocean from the top deck was better than expected, however, this may become limited once a nearby home is fully constructed. Had a minor maintenance issue which was resolved very quickly with a tech visit. Shoreline Realty was very good to work with-customer service oriented during our stay. Would rec!

Beautiful Home and Great Location!

We had a wonderful week! The house was very clean, beachy, and well appointed. The whole rental experience from reservation through checkout was super easy. Loved this location. Very convenient to the beach and stores. Unfortunately a house is under construction along the beach dune that will partially block the ocean view, but we were lucky to enjoy the big beautiful view this week. Thanks for a great stay!

First time in OBX.

Wonderful location. Beautiful home. The traffic was pretty bad getting onto the island. Thankfully, the main road was far away from this home. It was a five minute walk to the beach.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and the location convenient to many services and attractions. Internet and Wifi kept dropping off which was a minor issue. Other than that, A+ rating.

Perfect Family Vacation

Clean, great layout, so organized, has everything you will need... Even a blender and crockpot! And smart TV! Love that everyone has their own bathroom. The elevator was extremely helpful when unloading, especially for our older parents. Pool heat was a special treat, especially since it was early May and still chilly. And a great location, so close to two grocery stores, Duck Donuts, wild horse beach, lighthouse and shopping in Duck. A few good restaurants nearby. Walking and biking paths. It was an amazing two weeks!!

Lovely large new construction

Love the spacious floor plan, water view from the deck, private pool and jacuzzi, and easy access to the beach. The name "seventy steps" is no joke - it's the ultimate in vertical living. My only reservation in returning is that the house is located in a planned community with other very large homes like this packed closely together so I can imagine in high season the neighborhood is like one big frat party which is not my scene. It was even a little too noisy for us off-season with the next-door neighbors, but it just depends on what you are looking for. We definitely enjoyed the stay and the home is really great.

Fabulous place for Spring Break

The pool was heated perfectly, the hot tub was wonderful, the elevator was very helpful! We had 8 people very comfortable! The only complete had was the beds were on the firmer side.
