Pictures do it justice. Quiet, nice, close to the ocean and town.

House was clean when we arrived for the most part. The pots and pans were greasy and dirty although they were put away but i think that was because the last tenant didnt clean. The hot tub was good, the rooms were clean. The inside of the fridge looked like it was sprayed with water and left there to dry. Those are the only negatives everything else was just like the pictures show, beautiful and quiet.

October Beach Week

Our 10-member extended family had a very nice time staying in this property. The house was clean and comfortable with a very well-stocked kitchen. Everything worked except the DVD player. Location was good - about a three-minute walk to the beach. The property managers were responsive. A few of the ceiling lights were burned out in the kitchen so we contacted them. They had someone on site within a few hours to replace the bulbs, and they tried to fix the DVD player. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would be happy to return.

Nice place, could use some TLC

Property was well represented on the listing and the group had a great time. We had some minor negative experiences related to some maintenance needed in the house. There were at least 8 light bulbs out that needed to be replaced around the house and all of the bathrooms had varying problems related to the glass doors closing in order to run the shower. The check in/check out process was convenient for the most part, however we did have the office tell one of our guests that they needed to get off the property after they arrived 30 minutes before the official check in. Overall we would consider this property to rent again but would like to see some of the deferred maintenance addressed.

So close to the beach

Property management was easy to communicate with before and throughout our stay. They contacted us several times (via text) during our stay to make sure the property was ok and that we didn't need anything - I appreciated the thoughtfulness. The house was clean when we arrived (soooooo much better than other beach house rentals we have stayed in in the past!!) Kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/etc. (bring your own salt/pepper - they didn't have any!). Coffee pot looked like it had seen better days and could be replaced, but it worked. Bathrooms were cleans and had basic toiletries to get you started for the week (hand soap, cosmetic wipes, toilet paper, etc. ). They did not provide tissues so bring your own. Towels were provided and clean. Beds were not super comfortable for the adults. The mattresses were very soft. Pool and hot tub were great. Management cleaned them twice while we were there. Outdoor shower was awesome to wash off all the beach sand. Plenty of beach chairs and stuff provided. There were some boogie boards, but at least one was broken. Location was awesome with a very short easy walk to the beach. The stairs to get up and over the dune are very steep here so you really won't be able to use a chart or wagon unless you want to carry it for half the time. The neighbors around us were very noise - but this isn't the property/managements fault - just happened to be a large group of young adults in the two houses behind/adjacent to us so it was louder then we would have liked late in the night. No beach view from the house/deck. Use of pool and tennis club was a bonus! Short walk across street to the awesome BIG pool/tennis club Would probably stay here again just due to proximity to beach, pool club access, and easy/short drive to store.

Short skip to the beach

Perfect location. Beautiful home. Hr4at size for 6 on a girls trip. Kitchen fully stocked. Very clean house. Loved the hot tub. Would stay again. Location is only 1 mile to grocery and 1 mile to restaurants and shopping!

Great stay, perfect location

First time using VRBO. Great experience overall. Property was accurately described. Great location, ample room. Close to grocery store, lighthouse, restaurants. Oh, and a 3 minute walk to the beach. Check in was simple, communication with rental company was awesome. We will be back.

Nice house, but lacking in details

The property was nice enough, but it is definitely showing it’s age. A few chairs were wobbly and unusable, one (of only 2 available) pool cues had unraveling thread and no tip. 2 of the 3 light bulbs in the master bathroom were burnt out. Nothing major, but just needs some TLC. Lots of little issues all around the house.

Shouldn’t complain , but you asked.

We enjoyed ourselves even though the ladies will tell you it wasn’t clean because of the palmettos and other bugs. The positives definitely out weighed the negatives. Good weather , close to the beach . Beautiful beach to play on for the kids and warm ocean water.and plenty of room at the house. Nice amenities: pool , community pool, tennis., and hot tub. Now the negatives. No air on the second floor, missing shower head in a bathroom on second floor. Too many roaches , ants and spiders. Good vacation though. All in the attitude.

Dream come true!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Great layout and location! Wonderful to have an en suite bathroom and deck with every bedroom. Plenty of kitchen amenities! We will definitely be visiting Oyster Catcher again!
