The inside of the house is much better than the curb appeal observed from the outside. The A/C blew cold, and everything else worked well as expected. We were surprised to find some items that were not on the list of included such as hand soap in the bathrooms, dishwasher soap and dish soap. While we were prepared and had brought our own, it was nice to have extra if needed. There are some chairs on the upper deck to use, but not much else. The 2nd floor enclosed deck has plenty of furniture, but we didn't hang out there at all. The beds are firm - which was fine for us. There are plenty of blankets and pillows if needed. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit and would stay here again.

Great location

We thoroughly enjoyed this property. I stayed with my husband and four young children, and it was perfect for our needs, with lots of space to spread out. The outside areas and screened in porch were a huge plus. And the sorry walk to the beach couldn't be beat. We especially appreciated the voucher towards beach gear rental, as it meant we could pack less. The check in and check it process was a breeze.

Great Family Vacation

We had our family of 7 here. 5 kids 17 to 7. We had a blast even though the weather didn’t cooperate. Very close to beach, great bedrooms, and space to hang. Close to places to eat and grocery stores. Plenty of places to have fun too.

Great location but the house leaves something to be desired

The house is in a great location with tons of beach space. However, the house layout is difficult for multi-family stays. The beds are rocks and the gigantic porch has no significant furniture.

Amazing Property

The house was beautiful and the walk to the beach was easy. The rooms were set up well. One Queen room did not have a bathroom and the beds were not super comfortable but we made do. The area was fantastic and close to groceries and shopping. We easily traveled to the 4x4 Carolla beach and found the wild horses. The beach for the property was very secluded and only our area used it which was nice because it was not overly crowded and we were able to spread out and relax. We loved our stay! The only thing that we wished for was to be right on the beach and be able to see the ocean but we knew that coming into it and for the price it was great.

Great stay

Our experience with the property management was great. They were very responsive and check in/out was seemless. The house over met our expectations, if there was anything I could recommend would be upgraded tvs, cable, and improved beds...but we know we are at the beach and it was an amazing trip. Ty

Great property

This was our third time in Corolla, NC and we found this home to be really close to beach access and close to shopping, and things to do. The house was very nice and appeared to be updated recently. The bedrooms were all comfortable and the view from the deck allowed us to watch the sunrise with our morning coffee over the ocean. This was a very comfortable home to be in for the week.

Just Right

We had a great trip and enjoyed the house and the beach. Beach access is convenient with no hwy crossings and we had a really nice sand bar at low tide that was great for enjoying the water as it kept the waves at bay. Layout of house is good and the bathrooms and kitchen have nice stone and ceramic surfaces. Will definitely consider again for future stays.

Great staying! Few updates/recommendations

Cleaning needs to be better. The bathroom in the twin bed was not cleaned at all with sand all over the place. Also, the shower door and tower holder were broken. I think they missed a full inspection on this corner from the last tenant. Suggestions: 1) twin beds mattress makes lots of noise 2) wooden bars on the bunk beds need tightening. It feels like its fall apart. 3) The sofas and chairs were dirty & stained. 4) The sofa mattress is totally a mess and can't be considered as an additional bed. We had to bring in our own foam mattress topper and used all the comforters to make it work. 5) Oven door was broken. Good thing we had a handy man and he made a temporary fix. 6) Remove all broken items before your next tenant. There was a blue whale centerpiece broken. Overall we love the house! Its location, space, the view, access to the beach and all the amenities was perfect! Although we brought some of our own stuff it wasn't necessary! It was a great vacation and thank you for sharing your home!

Spacious Beach House

The beach house was spacious and clean, even if a bit wore down from use. The few issues we had, Maintenace fixed directly and pleasantly. House accommodated all of us quite well. The walk to the beach was easy. We rented bikes that were fun to ride in the small neighborhood. The stretch of beach at the end of the walkway was beautiful and not too crowded, even though Corolla and Duck were very crowded. The beach house could definitely use some work on the decks, rails, and outside staircases. Overall, was a great beach week with family and friends.

Wonderful property

The house was everything as advertised. Clean, spacious and a short walk to the beach. Very short drive to the town which had plenty of shopping, eating, and activities. Overall wonderful stay and we will be back

Great home-Poorly maintained

Home has great features and a well equipped kitchen. The carpets were soiled and not well vacuumed. Dirty and dusty between railings along stairs. Husband found prescription medicine on floor next to bed. If a child got that it could have been disastrous. All the dishes were greasy and had to be rewashed. The walls had dirt spots all the way to the ceiling in kitchen and dining area. Air conditioning in middle floor wasn’t cooling at all. Finally got it fixed on Tuesday, but wasn’t cooling again by Friday. When packing to check out by 9am a black SUV was scoping us out starting at 8:30, parked on a side street and as we were pulling out the vehicle pulled up to the end of the driveway and pulled in as soon as we pulled out of driveway. Talk about can’t waiting for you to leave!! Chances are we won’t stay there again.

Basic Ocean-side Property

The property is a very basic ocean-side property with minimal extras and in need of updates.The house is actually an easy 5 minute walk from the beach. The furnishing of the house (chairs, beds, and couches) are in need of updates/replacements, as is every bathroom.The kitchen has numerous plates and glassware. We called about a leaky ceiling (plaster falling) in a bedroom, & were told they are aware of the leak during heavy rains but have never been able to fix (I hope they find the time to fix soon).

Rent another house

Pros: close to beach, spacious rooms Cons: LOTS! Unfortunately, this place was extremely dirty when we checked in. Tables not wiped, kitchen not cleaned, remotes dirty, dust everywhere...I could go on and on. Our vacation was schedule during the Covid pandemic and were hesitant to go. We called prior to our arrival date and were assured a thorough cleaning would be taking place. Unfortunately, that was not the case and we wound up spending the evening cleaning the house ourselves. I will give props to the management. They did refund our cleaning fee after we sent pictures of the condition we found it. Besides the lack of cleaning, the maintenance of the house was very poor. We literally had a problem everyday with something in the house. Stove handle fell off, toilet valve making weird noises, microwave pieces coming off. By the end of the week, the maintenance manager and I were on a first name basis-lol. The interlude needs a lot of TLC! I would not recommend booking this house.

Spur of the moment decision

Needs an overhaul. Deck furniture a must. No shade so how can you use it???? Furniture on the inside uncomfortable. Could not watch tv in most rooms because instructions were terrible. the living room had 7 remotes not labeled Access to the beach was DIFFICULT not just 500 feet to the ocean up steps and more steps then down steep steps...how do you do that with babies every day in 90 degree heat. We got a wagon but it couldn't go up steps and down steps
