The house was spacious, spotless, and just as beautiful as the pictures. It felt very comfortable and well cared for. Rebecca was a great host—she responded quickly and was very reassuring when I had concerns about the hurricane. I’d definitely stay here again!

This house was absolutely perfect. I've been coming to the Outer Banks every summer for almost 30 years and I can safely say this was the best stay I've had yet. Everything was clean and clearly updated recently because it had a very modern look to it. Having the grill and the outside bar was amazing. I used to scoff at the idea of an elevator but man bringing in the groceries and luggage was a delight. The owners were super responsive to every question I had and frequently checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay during our vacation. We will be booking this again for next year's family vacation. I think we found our home away from home

Relaxing Stay

Wonderful home. Meticulously maintained. Was a relaxing week with our family. The home has everything you would want or need and just a block away from the beach. The hosts were wonderful and responsive. Would definitely rent the property again.

Our family vacation was amazing! Our weather was very hot, so we were at the beach or in the pool every day.The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The elevator was very helpful! We look forward to returning next year or the following.

Review

The property itself was one of the best rentals we’ve had in past years. Very clean and well-maintained. The only downfall was the listing in pictures lead you to believe there may be a little more room between housing. Because the housing is so close. some rentals are often louder or rowdier than others. Thank goodness there was only one and it was tolerable. We do realize that’s not the fault of the property owners that we rented from.

Amazing!

Beautiful home, great location, layout of home was perfect for the three different families who stayed together.. each family had their own floor. Elevator was difficult to use, but would definitely stay there again!! Management staff very accommodating!

When there were minor issues, property managers were very responsive! Excellent responsiveness! Property is great! Thank you!! We did not like how busy the beach was, and the people who put out the rental chairs and umbrellas always took the prime locations so we had to hike our stuff a bit further up the beach which was not ideal.

Outer Banks Vacation

We loved this home. It was exactly as described in the listing. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. The walk to the beach was easy. The neighborhood was quiet. We were very close to amenities. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We would absolutely rent this home again.

Fantastic week in Corolla!

We had 12 in our group, 6 adults and 6 kids, ages 5-15. The house had plenty of space for our group and in addition to being very clean, it is updated and the location is great! The beach is less than a 5 minute walk and it’s close to stores and restaurants too. Communication with the owner was easy, they reached out to us a couple of times during the week via text just to check how things were going and any questions we had were responded to promptly. Overall we had a wonderful week in Corolla and enjoyed our stay at Salt Shaker!

Great for big families

Awesome Property!

Had a wonderful week with my extended family at this property. House is exactly as described and was very clean. Although we didn't have any problems, Mgmt company did a great job "checking in" every couple of days via text to see if there was anything we needed. A very short walk to a beautiful beach, however, we used the pool quiet extensively. Close to everything. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Corolla.

A luxury home by the beach

The property was everything we expected and more! It was clean, comfortable and had a great location. There was plenty of space for our group of 13. We were near the beach--I am disabled but we were still comfortably close. We loved the pool and hot tub--it was great when the little kids still wanted to swim and we needed to prepare dinner. When we return to the Outer Banks, we will definitely consider this property!

Would stay again.

Everything was exactly how it was listed. Plenty of room for our 6 kids, spouses and 3 grands! Rebecca was quick to contact me when our laundry was stuck in the washer(our fault). There was plenty of dishes, pans, storage containers and utensils. Only complaint was the second floor was uncomfortable with the air. Kids were struggling to sleep with the warmth. I'm sure this is an easy fix. All in all we had a great time and would definitely recommend to others to stay here! Thank you Rebecca!

We had an awesome stay. The house was a nice size, quiet between floors, has an awesome pool and a short walk to the beach. It was also a nice location between Duck and the main part of Corolla. The property manager was very responsive and welcoming.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay during our spring break! The house was absolutely perfect! Super clean! It had everything we needed. We ate mostly at home and it was equipped with everything that u would need. The heated pool was great in of itself! The kids loved it! Short couple minute walk to the beach which was very nice. Property manager was super responsive to any questions that we had. We would love to come back!
