Good condo

The condo was great. Clean and close to the beach. The pool wasn’t what I thought. Dirty most of the time. Nails sticking up on the boards. Not the owner of the condo fault. If you do not like steps, going to the beach there are a lot of steps. Overall I liked the condo. Area was ok.

Wonderful stay

The condo was perfect for our group of four. Pool was lovely and so was the short walk to the beautiful beach. We loved the table on the deck and worked out there every morning. The kitchen was stocked with all cooking tools we needed. We appreciated the cleaning supplies and coffee filters but would have loved a few more “basics” like salt and pepper.

Comfortable and convenient

My husband and two sons (20 and 17) stayed 4 days at ocean sands. The condo was comfortable and perfectly suited our needs. The pool could have been warmer, but it was only mid May, so I’m sure the water warms up eventually. We very much enjoyed our stay, and hope to return next year.

OBX Weeklong Stay

Property was as advertised. Very clean unit with easy walking access to the beach. Local shopping all within 5 minutes of the condo. Quiet area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick summer getaway.

Lovely unit!

The space was exactly as pictured, with ample covered parking and a ground floor storage closet stocked with beach supplies. The pool was well maintained and great for kids. And the beach was only a short walk away! Overall we had a great experience here and would highly recommend.

Perfect for us!

This was the vacation we wanted! Our condo was clean and had the amenities we were looking for. The short walk to the beach made an easy day of going from beach to house when needed. The beach was not busy and at times felt very private. We would do this again in a heartbeat!

Lovely unit close to beach

Condo was lovely. Very clean and had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Pool area was very nice. The neighborhood itself is a little “tired” looking which of course is no fault of this particular units owner. The walk to the beach is very easy but again you are walking past buildings and some units that are a bit unkempt. Overall a great place for 2 people when all the larger Corolla houses would have been just too much space.

Very welcoming and homey

The stay was really nice. The area had a good vibe to it and a very spacious condo. We thought we would have been able to see the ocean from our 3rd level deck, but that wasn't the case, no big deal. We still had a great time.

Awesome house

The condo was great and we enjoyed our stay tremendously. We loved the seashell basket where everyone let their name and stay. The only thing I feel is a call out is the information on fridge needs updated says there is a hot tub and we never saw one.

Had a great stay and visit with family members. Only one negative comment- a very strong smell from pot smoke in the unit. Sprayed air freshener but didn’t help.

The pool was within view of the patio area which is great with teenagers. The beach was a short walk from parking garage. The condo was nice. On 3rd level several steps up and down to garage and beach area that's only bad things. Remember no fast food (McDonalds etc.) within 45mint. drive. Great BBQ place near Food Lion. Condo very clean and nice. A little small for 5 adults. The 2 twins and futon in one small room. Be great if you had small kids.

Exactly as promised

The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had no maintenance issues. It would be a nice bonus if there were a few extra courtesy rolls of toilet paper and paper towels provided. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely stay here again for a longer visit. The owner is more responsive to email than phone, and was able to accommodate a last minute request for us. Overall, five stars!

Beautiful area and Beach

Beach access was nice, pretty quiet for our offseason stay. Condo was clean, could use some new shower heads in the bathrooms. Lots of restaurants in the area. Overall nice stay just wish we had more time

Great spot for a family vacation with kids

This was our first family trip since Feb. 2020 and from the outset the owner/property manager was great to work with. She allowed us to move our reservation from June 2020 to June 2021, checked in periodically to give us updated information (option to rent linens and towels, renovations that were made) and overall was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. The location to the beach is great and easy to access with small children, and the pool was a nice feature for our kiddos to cool off or take a break from the beach. The condo was virtually soundproof - we only heard our neighbors when we went outside, and it was spotless upon arrival. The residents and guests of the complex were incredibly friendly as well. The condo itself is less than half a mile to a Harris Teeter, shops, and restaurants, and a short drive to downtown Corolla or Duck in either direction. All in all, a great place to unwind.
