Outstanding

Fabulous location, on the top of a hill with a large garden giving a lovely feeling of seclusion and busy insects buzzing between the flowers and olive trees. Great pool. Really attentive cleaning and maintenance team. No notes.We had a couple of struggles with the appliances, but the host was quick and attentive in sorting them out. Asking for our feedback while we were still there is a practice other hosts should copy.Insect repellent a must.

Quiet seclusion

Lovely villa; very private (just one neighbour - a lovely Italian family) set in mature olive groves. The villa is remote and a car is essential. The nearest village is Kato Korakiana with 2 mini-markets, a butcher and a couple of tavernas; a very pleasant option away from the over-populated East coast. The villa was clean, well-equipped and fully air-conditioned which we needed at 38c! Too hot to even BBQ! The only description we would perhaps ‘correct’ is ‘large pool.’ The pool is ‘medium-sized' with a kids pool at one end; perfect for families but not long enough if you like to swim for exercise. This is the first time we’ve rented a villa inland and we did miss the sea breeze. The property manager, Ingrid was excellent. She was there to greet us and went through all the details of the villa. Costas the pool guy and gardener was there regularly (lovely guy) and a team of cleaners zoomed through the place 3 times a week, which some may find a bit intrusive if you like your privacy, but they kept the villa clean, took away the rubbish and provided clean towels and linens. All in all, we had a very relaxing 10-days.

Lovely villa

A really lovely villa, with plenty of bathrooms and loos, a good kitchen, comfortable beds and mosquito screens. Has AC but staying at the start of September was not needed as the villa is so airy. Ingrid was really helpful when the WiFi was knocked out by a thunderstorm. Location is lovely, quiet and pretty, super pool and plenty of outside seating. All the support staff such as the pool guy and cleaners were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Wonderful in every way!

We had a fantastic stay in Villa Mayroula. The villa and grounds are immaculate and delivered on every front. We loved the privacy and space it offers. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon throughout was very welcome in 35 degree heat as was the wonderful pool where we spent most of our time. Ingrid and Dimitris were the perfect hosts and couldn’t do enough to make our holiday enjoyable. Any issues were dealt with promptly and with the utmost professionalism. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Villa Mayroula and hope to return ourselves one day! PS also highly recommend Spiros Boat Hire on Barbati Beach for a memorable day out exploring the coves and tavernas of the north-east coast!

Family Paradise at Corfu

We spent wonderful days in July in this lovely house, for a family's holiday to remain in great memories! It is simply PERFECT - house and the pool are spotless clean, garden is green, well taken-care of and lovey, with old olive trees that create the shadow during the day irrespective of the sun and heat...Nearby beaches are easy to reach, yet allowing for ultimate peace in the early morning and evening in the garden. Just awesome. Ingrid is absolutely reliable, helpful and friendly host, responding to our questions in real time, making us feel comfortable, safe and like at home. Full recommendation, and we will come back! Stankovic family :)

Fantastic Villa

Location was quiet and centrally located with easy access (car essential) to the north of the island. Ingrid was exceptional, meeting us on arrival, keeping in touch and available for information we needed. Villa and pool were spotless and house/pool cleaners polite and a real bonus. Would highly recommend this property and company.

Quiet and peaceful

Quiet and peaceful spot with lovely pool. Car required with steep winding single track to villa but once there nicely remote from the busy beachfront. Villa itself spotless with good amenities and air-con throughout if needed.

Perfect holiday destination

We had the most wonderful stay at villa marylou. The villa is stunning and very clean and the cleaners came every few days and changed our sheets and towels and did a wonderful Job keeping everything just so. Pool is bigger than other rentals and beautifully warm. You definitely need a car as the villa is quite remote but that means it’s lovely and quiet. So while my husband and I enjoyed the peace the youngsters in our group were only ten minutes from ipsos town which has lovely restaurants and nightclubs and a pleasant but stony beach. We travelled about 40 minutes to our favourite beach Marathias which is almost deserted but beautiful golden sand and clear waters and fantastic seafood restaurant. Great local cab company run by a family very prompt brought the kids to and from ipsos any time of night 20 Doris. Ingrid is totally delightful Perfect hostess. Never interfered but was there instantly if we needed her. Can’t overstate how lovely this villa is we will definitely be back. Thank you Ingrid.

Traumhaft

Wir waren mit unserem Kleinkind (2 Jahre) für eine Woche in dieser wundervollen Villa. Wir haben uns extrem wohlgefühlt. Es war außerordentlich sauber, gleichzeitig sehr wohnlich und gemütlich. Die Terrasse wunderschön, der große und ebenfalls ganz saubere Pool mit zusätzlichem kleinen Pool für Kleinkinder einfach nur toll. Die ruhige und sehr ländliche Umgebung macht die Villa perfekt.

Wonderful stay

This villa is the perfect country retreat. Spacious, spotlessly clean with a lovely garden and large modern pool. The villa has everything you need including those essentials that usually you have to buy - dishwasher tablets, washing powder etc. We travelled during Covid and the arrangements were superb. Ingrid met us at the villa to explain the few changes to the cleaning whilst we were there and visits like the pool cleaner and gardener. Inside the villa was spotless, hand gel was provided and things like TV remotes were covered in plastic bags. The cleaners still came to visit with added precautions which were easy to adapt to. The pool was amazing - wider than most and somehow, despite being in the countryside surrounded by trees, it stayed wonderfully clean. No cleaning the pool in a morning with the net to remove leaves and insects. The villa is a little isolated - so if you are looking for peace and quiet (like us) its perfect. It's up quite a steep track about a 10 min drive to the main road so a car is essential. But it's worth it - the tranquility is amazing. We had a couple of small issues while we were there - the pool lights wouldn't work and we lost the internet due to a thunder storm. In both cases Ingrid and Alki were extremely responsive and super helpful - both issues were resolved within hours. Overall a beautiful countryside villa perfect for a relaxing stay in Corfu.

Perfect Villa for relaxing holiday

Villa Mayroula is a nice furnished, quiet and comfortable villa with a large green garden and a comfortable pool with relaxing chairs. The perfect place for families. It is located near Dasia at the nothern part of Corfu. All the need to visit places are within 30-40 minutes drive by car. Due this renting a car is advisable. The villa is clean and the hosting is super friendly. We will definately come back.

Super Unterkunft mit tollem Service

Die Villa liegt zwar etwas außerhalb, dafür ist es aber sehr ruhig. Ein Auto ist auf jeden Fall ein MUSS. Der Service (Reinigung, Pool und Garten) ist hervorragend.

Villa Mayroula - Quiet location, clean and comfortable

We've had a lovely stay at this villa, the best we've ever stayed in and there have been lots! Modern, lovely and clean and spacious for our family of 5. The cleaners, pool cleaner and gardener came in several times a week to keep it looking good throughout. The villa is quite remote and it took us about 45 mins to walk into Dassia where there are supermarkets, restaurants and a pleasant beach. The villa is not overlooked so there's lots of privacy around the pool area. Wi-fi connection is a bit hit-and-miss. I would recommend a stay here.

Amazing villa, perfect location

We hit gold! This was our first time booking separate flights and accommodation and we weren't disappointed. The villa is so private and literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a neighbour next door but we never saw them. A car is a must though. The villa is roomy and they have thought of everything. They provide dishwasher tablets, washing powder, mosquito plug ins which makes life so much easier. The pool was well maintained and really big , and the grounds of the villa are really spacious compared to most I've seen online. The children loved it too and spent most of their time in the pool when we weren't exploring the island. Hoping to book again for next year. The only slight disadvantage were the wasps! but we reported the nests to the agents and they were over immediately. They didn't all go away (it takes time for them all to go), but it was better.
