Relaxing oasis in Corfu

Words cannot sum up how much we enjoyed our stay at Villa Erimitis. We were welcomed by Dimitris, who stayed in touch throughout our stay. We appreciated that he allowed us to check out later due to a late flight. It was also lovely to wander down to the restaurant by the sea at night and visit the local town, which was only 5 minutes away by car. It was hard to leave the pool! Thank you, Dimitris!

August family holiday

The perfect villa for ages 17months to 3 years and 5 adults. Amazing large garden with children’s swing, hammocks and comfy chairs. Lovely 15m pool and the villa benefits from catching the afternoon breeze from the beach. Only 2 minute walk to the glorious Avalaki beach and the wonderful Cava Barbaro taverna.

Another great week.

Our second visit to Villa Erimitis, and another wonderful week. A huge gated plot with a large pool, just a minute's stroll to the sea and a quiet beach with a couple of great restaurants. A terrific host, Dimitris, and a well laid out house on one level with everything you need, including a new pod coffee machine. Also a pleasant stroll into Kassiopi and a whole bunch of restaurants, with our favourite being The Old School House. Very effective A/C in the 4 bedrooms. If there was A/C in the large kitchen/reception room, and a larger, adjustable grill for the BBQ, it would be absolutely perfect. Regardless, it is still a 10/10 villa. Dimitris, thank you.

Relaxing 9 day stay.

We have just returned from a very relaxing 9 day break in this villa which was perfect for 2 families with bedrooms situated at either side of the villa. We all enjoyed the amazing pool and spacious outdoor terrace. The villa was very clean, well maintained and catered for all our needs. Dimitris was an amazing host, answered any questions we had without delay recommending local restaurants, taxis and shops. Cavo Barbaro on the beach front was fantastic and we can’t recommend it highly enough, the staff were always very friendly and very accommodating. We would recommend this Villa and Dimitris as a host without hesitation!

Group of 8 ladies that love to travel

Villa Erimitis has to stayed in to appreciate all it has to offer. The outdoor space was fabulous and the pool was used everyday by all of our group which has not always been the case in our 25 years of taking holidays together. Avlaki beach is beautiful and the restaurant Cavo Barbaro (a very short walk from the villa) is fantastic - both in terms of the service and food. There are two local supermarkets who will deliver to the villa free of charge and taxis into Kassiópi were easy enough to arrange at around 10 euros per trip. Dimitri is a great host and communicated well with us. I have no hesitation in recommending and we are already planning a return visit next year.

Our flight arrived late, so arrived late at Villa,( early hours of the morning!) met with a smiling Dimitris!! Fabulous host! the villa is private, with the most amazing size swimming pool! Great location, couldn't recommend highly enough! Dimitris very helpful!!

Idyllic

We have just returned from a week in Villa Corfu Erimitis and we cannot fault it in anyway. We were 2 families with 4 children ranging from 1 to 14 years old and there was something for everyone… aka the incredible pool! There were pool toys, floats, water pistols provided which was great entertainment. The villa itself was pristine and so clean with housekeepers coming in half way through our trip which was an added bonus. The listing for the villa does it no justice whatsover so just book and you will not be disappointed. The location of the villa is just perfect, set back off the main road where it is so so quiet. Just a 2minute walk away is the stunning bay of Avlaki where there is nothing but a beautiful beach, 2 amazing tavernas and a boat/paddleboard hire company. When i say it is quiet, all you can hear is the waves! There is hardly any people around and the beach everytime we went down there was empty! Thank you Dimitris for letting us stay in your beautiful property and always replying so quickly whenever i messaged you! We will definitely be back as we have found a real gem. We will forever treasure our memories from the best trip

Family holiday

Wonderful spacious property. Quite area yet walking distance to 2 good tavernas. Nice beach with good snorkeling. Supermarket nearby walking distance but we drove. It is uphill so for the fit an option. Also nearby Kassiopi plenty of cafe, restaurants and fab view down by the harbour. We enjoyed the relaxation of the villa, family of 6 and all had plenty of space. Contact with Dimitris very easy and vety quick response. Would highly recommend. Uk Sept 2023

Needed 2 weeks...

Nothing to fault, other than there were only 4 matching wine glasses, but not a problem as only 4 of us were drinking wine. Without a doubt this would have been remedied by Dimitris had I texted him about it. He is very lovely and charming. Oh, the BBQ, although a seriously large stone structure with chimney, only has a single very small griddle, which cannot be adjusted for height, for actually cooking; this really should be addressed. The 17m pool is perfectly positioned in front of the house and the large, covered outdoor dining area. Very large plot secured by lockable steel gates. Extremely effective aircon in all bedrooms, and fly-screens on all windows/doors. Large TV screen, books/games, outdoor store with inflatables and snorkelling gear, large laundry room, plenty of outdoor loungers and hammocks. Barely a minute's walk from the wonderful bay - stoney, so Crocs are good - and two great restaurants. Thirty minute stroll to Kassiopi and a whole bunch of restaurants, or a 5 minute drive. I wouldn't hesitate in revisiting, and very possibly will, but for two weeks.

Fabulous villa!

This villa was perfect for our family holiday with 8 of us from 18 - 82! Enormous pool was amazing and enjoyed by all. Lots of space for us all to relax - loads of outdoor furniture and wonderful gardens to wander around. Thanks for Dimitris for allowing us to stay and for your assistance and pre travel help. Stayed for 5 weeks - would have loved to stay even longer

Lovely villa, the layout would suit 2 families with children having bedrooms at each end and spacious lounge kitchen in the centre. Large garden and great pool - very quiet and private. Large covered patio ideal for sheltering from the sun or rain! We ate outside every day. Short walk to Avlaki beach and the excellent Cavo Barbaro taverna but a car is a must for shopping and trips into Kassiopi (taxis not always available when required). Dimitris was a pleasure, always happy to stop for a chat and suggest places to visit. Good selection of books left by previous guests along with some pool toys. We would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend.

A little paradise

Peaceful villa, as defined on the website, is precisely what expects you at this great location. My two grandchildren, six and four years old, stormed around in the huge garden and threw the many playthings present there into the extra-large pool. The adults, two couples and two singles, enjoyed their privacy all in own bedrooms – as well as the outdoor barbecue and the sea just some footsteps away at the charming Avlaki Beach. We visited by car and boat quite many villages, harbours, sights, tavernas on this island, feeling everytime like coming home when back to the calm of villa Erimitis – and "our" restaurant Cavo Barbaro right next door. The advantage of end season: no more nowhere any crowd of tourists, without reservation always a table for eight in every taverna. The disadvantage? Well, if jumping into the pool before breackfast is your thing, you might better wait for late afternoon, when the sun has warmed it up. The garden is in the sun all day long, but for sitting together in the shady loggia it gets quite cold. So an additional mobile garden table, you can put wherever you want to enjoy e.g. your dinner, would be fine. Dimitris was a great help to us whenever we needed. Patient and cordial he gives all tips and recommendations you can imagine. There is just nothing on and about Corfu he wouldn't know!

Family reunion on beautiful Corfu

The villa was the perfect place for our family getaway with plenty of room for us to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and we made great use of the outside barbecue. The villa was spotlessly clean and comfortable, and Dimitris was a great host. He greeted us on arrival, kindly helped us get provisions and was always quick to respond to questions. The villa is set in a huge garden with comfortable chairs and hammocks to lounge in and the large pool was a big hit. Avlaki beach is very picturesque with views across to the Albanian mountains and there are two good tavernas. The walk to Kassiopi is enjoyable and there are many shops and tavernas in this pretty town. A motorbike or car is handy to get around and shop for food. I recommend hiring a boat at Avlaki to explore more of the stunning coastline. At the end of the beach is a nature reserve and you can walk to several other beautiful beaches. A great holiday!

perfect family holidays

the villa is better than the picture, very well designed, with two sleeping wings and a central living area and well equipped kitchen, the swimming pool is big with adequate shallow end and the shaded eating area is really the central point of the villa if this is not enough 2 min walk takes you to the beach and 2 restaurants (a tavern and a seafood one) the villa is located in the big olive orchard the area is not very busy but if missing crowd the nearest village is 5min drive Dimitrios was very helpful with any questions and queries we had Even if tried we couldn't find any fault - the place was perfect

Perfect holiday

Wonderful villa, pool and location, perfect for two families sharing. Dimitris was so welcoming and helpful. Taverna and beach easy walk away and other lovely places to visit a short drive away. Had everything we hoped for and more. The large pool was a big plus and plentiful shade (and sun). Love this place.

Excellent in every way

Lovely spacious villa on one level and sleeping quarters at either end. Well thought out. Outside area perfect. Only suggestion would be an overhead fan in patio area where the table is. It’s hard to get any air sometimes as it’s so still. No complaints whatsoever though. Dimitris wonderful. So helpful

Traumhafte Villa in Top Lage

Die Villa ist genauso schön wie in dem Inserat beschrieben. 3 große Schlafzimmer mit Queensize-Betten, ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und ein Schlafzimmer mit Einzelbett, da kommt jeder auf seine Kosten! Zudem gibt es 3 große Badezimmer. Der Wohnbereich mit der super ausgestatteten Küche und dem großen Esstisch bieten viel Platz, ebenso wie die sehr große überdachte Terrasse! Der Pool ist ein Traum und man will dann gar nicht mehr runter vom Hof. Von uns eine absolute Empfehlung!

Perfect villa in super location

We had a fantastic week here. Our first visit to Corfu & we couldn't have picked a better spot. The villa was spacious & immaculate & the pool stunning. Kids (9&10) loved it. A couple of minutes walk from Avlaki beach which was perfect for morning dips, paddle board hire & kids loved jumping off the jetty. Cavo Barbaro a must ( but book in high season). We loved exploring the area & amazing beaches nearby. Nikos supermarket had everything we needed & a great small deli counter. Dimitris the owner was very helpful & there on arrival. Would certainly reccomend.

Superb villa in stunning location

Our 10 night stay at Villa Erimitis was a dream holiday...everything we wanted and more!! Dimitris provided a really warm welcome to his fantastic property and he was on hand all week for any queries. The accommodation is spacious, spotless and fully equipped for a really comfortable stay. The highlights for us were the pool and BBQ...perfect ingredients for summer living!! We enjoyed hours of swimming, sunbathing and relaxing in and around the spacious pool terrace which had plenty of sun beds and parasols...the enormous pool is excellent and the coloured lights at night were a surprise bonus!! We explored the local area visiting beaches and restaurants, but for us the best of both were right on our doorstep...Avlaki beach and Cavo Barbaro were just perfect! If you have beach shoes and you don’t mind the pebbles then Avlaki beach has crystal clear waters for snorkelling, swimming and jumping off the jetty! The food at Cavo Barbaro is delicious, a great selection served to a high standard, the service is excellent, professional and friendly. Thanks to a fully equipped laundry room at the villa and the gloriously hot and sunny weather of Corfu we all returned home with suitcases full of clean clothes...a very welcome bonus!! We would not hesitate in booking again and recommending Villa Erimitis to anyone seeking a little slice of paradise! Thank you Dimitris and best wishes xx

Peaceful Retreat

A quiet , lovely villa with it's own great pool just 100 metres down a stony track from Alvaki pebble beach. Great place to relax and read or swim with ample areas of sun and shade, whatever rocks your boat. Very clean and well equipped interior (though no dishwasher) which could comfortably accommodate 8-9 adults. Particularly liked that there were 2 "wings" in the house each with 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom which would be ideal for 2 families sharing. Wasps seem endemic to the island and the villa had it's fair share but they didn't seem to trouble us too much. Villa is equipped at all doors/windows with sliding fly screens so no internal problems in that regard. Two local restaurants on the beach with "Cavo Barbaro" being particularly good. Whilst you can walk to local small supermarkets (15 mins) or Kassiopi (25mins), best to have a car, if only to save having to carry heavy loads (including drinking water).
