Estupenda sitio con magnificas vistas

Las vistas desde la piscina o la mesa fuera son espectaculares. La casa está muy bien equipada, la cama es muy cómoda y la ducha es amplia y limpia. Está muy cerca de Acharavi, una localidad muy bien equipada con supermercados y restaurantes y cerca de muy buenas playas. Quizás mejoraría la intimidad y el aislamiento de Castelli Olive Press en relación con la casa vecina que tiene capacidad para 10 personas y está demasiado próxima en mi opinión

Ein perfekter Ort zum Abschalten und Entspannen und dabei eine gute Ausgangsbasis für Ausflüge und zum Erkunden der Insel. Das Häuschen ist liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über alles, was man braucht. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. John ist der perfekte Gastgeber. Er war jederzeit ansprechbar und hatte viele gute Tipps für uns. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Perfect cottage attached to main house

We took both cottage and house and all accommodations were fabulous. This cottage was a special treat with its own living area, and tucked to the side below the pool. A truly magical place! We meet as a family once a year and have been lucky enough to do it in some fabulous houses, but this rated as one of our favorites for its stunning view and extremely private and peaceful location.

A peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the Castilli Cottage, taking in the breath-taking vistas and enjoying the simple and well appointed cottage. While removed from the hustle bustle of the town below, everything is still within close proximity- beautiful hikes along the coast, delicious food at local tavernas and endless panaramas. Highly recommend! John was helpful and kind and full of great tips

Stunningly beautiful place, really lovely cottage.

The Olive Press was a beautifully converted barn that was equipped with everything you could need for a wonderful stay. It is a great base to explore the whole of Corfu from, but is quiet and peaceful home to return to. I would recommend it to all my friends and family. The welcome was warm and there was always someone to help if needed. Corfu in May is simply stunning. Really a five star holiday.

Everything we ever hoped for

Fabulous property — quaint, clean, modern yet full of real character. Wonderful personal experiences with both owner and caretakers. Close enough to everything yet far enough away in an eyrie’s nest with spectacular views. Could not have liked this better. Thanks to Matina, Stephen, Maggie, John, Nikos and family (local taverna DO NOT MISS IT) for a fabulous stay.

Absolutely amazing!

We stayed at the Fourni small stone house for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it! If you are seeking quite location with the great sunset and view, beautiful olive trees surrounding and small but charming swimming pool that allows you to jump in in the hot summer day, this is perfect location. Thank you Matina( although we have not met in person), Stephen and Maggie for your hospitality and all recommendations! The property is spotless clean and was what we needed in our busy life . Hopefully we will see you again in the future. Angelina and family

Entspannung pur!

Angenehme Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Wir haben im Voraus nützliche Infos erhalten. Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, auf dem Weg die Einkäufe zu machen, was uns mindest. eine Fahrt in die Stadt erspart hat. Da die Anfahrt zu dem Ort bei Google Maps falsch verzeichnet ist, wird man von einem Freund der Familie in Acharavi abgeholt. Den Treffpunkt findet man einfach – es gibt tatsächlich nur einen Kreisel in der Stadt. Die Unterkunft liegt oben in den Bergen, inmitten eines Olivenhaines, ein Auto ist notwendig. Die Anfahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich – nur für geübte Autofahrer zu empfehlen (slalomreiche und teils relativ steile Schotterpiste). Wenn man aber das Ziel erreicht hat, wird man mit einem tollen Ausblick belohnt – über die grüne Insel bis zum Meer, zudem auf der rechten Seite Blick auf eine imposante Felsformation. Das Häuschen ist perfekt für zwei Personen. Sehr gepflegte und liebevoll ausgesuchte Einrichtung. Alles war sauber und komfortabel. Auf uns hat ein Begrüßungskörbchen mit tollen lokalen Spezialitäten gewartet. Hervorheben möchte ich das gepflegte Bad, die Fliegengitter in allen Fenstern, das schnelle und gut funktionierende W-Lan, den gepflegten Hof und natürlich den Pool mit einem herrlichen Ausblick, u.a. auf die Sonnenuntergänge, die wir sehr genossen haben. Außer der Saison war die größere Villa nicht bewohnt, damit hatten wir alle Sitzmöglichkeiten und den Pool nur für uns! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder buchen.

Perfect vacation

Castelli Olive Press was a wonderful home base for our stay in Corfu, it's easily accessible and a short drive from beaches/towns but feels truly private and special. The view is absolutely stunning, especially at sunset. The house itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well-equipped. While we didn't meet in person, Matina was a lovely and communicative host, and Steven was super helpful and gave us great recommendations. I would (and will!) recommend Castelli Olive Press to anyone. Thank you again, Matina!

It was best place we have ever been. It was clean, cosy and what a view. It is perfect place to spend your holiday when You like privacy. And Stephen is a really nice person.

Kleines Haus mit großer Aussicht

Die "Olivenpresse" ist ein kleines Haus, das absolut ausreichend ist für zwei Personen, sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allen notwendigen Dingen ausgestattet: ein echtes Wohlfühlhaus. Das Haus selbst liegt am Rand eines alten Olivenhains, in einer kleinen Siedlung mit fünf Häusern und einem großzügigen Pool und wunderbaren Aussicht über den Nordteil der Insel. Das Handling vor Ort wie auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin sind prompt, freundlich und zuverlässig. Bereits im Vorfeld erhielten wir hilfreiche Informationen. Statt einer mühevollen Wegbeschreibun, wurden wir in Acharavi abgeholt und zum Haus geleitet. Die Fahrt von Acharavi zum Haus dauerte keine zehn Minuten, wobei der letze Teil der Anfahrt kurvenreich und steil ist, aber gut zu bewältigen. Ein Auto ist erforderlich. Die Lage des Hauses lädt dazu ein den Nordteil der Insel zu erkunden. In der Nähe des Hauses führt ein Wanderweg vorbei, der einen über alte Pfade, verlassene Dörfer hoch in die Berge führt. Auch der Pantokrator ist nicht weit, allerdings sollte man nicht unbedingt vom Haus starten, es sei denn, man ist sehr ambitioniert. Alles in Allem ist die Olivenpresse unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Cadre exceptionnel pour les amateurs de nature et d'isolement

Très bon accueil de Matina qui nous a guidé elle-même jusqu'au gîte, perché à flanc de montagne dans un hameau à 5 kilomètres environ d'Aharavi au nord de Corfou. La maison est bien équipée et décorée, et dispose d'une vue exceptionnelle. La terrasse est très agréable. Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour. Comme expliqué, prévoir de louer un véhicule et/ou haut de caisse afin d'y accéder.

Schönes Haus mit toller Aussicht

Das Haus liegt ruhig in den Bergen. Es ist modern und schick eingerichtet. Um ans Haus zu kommen braucht man ein kleines Auto oder ein Geländewagen. Die letzten 400 Meter zum Haus sind kurwig und steil.

L'accueil, la vue, le gite, tout était parfait. Le gite est complet, très propre. Le nettoyage plus le changement du linge de maison 2 fois semaine était une agréable surprise! La disponibilité de Stephen sur place plus les mails de Matina concernant les problèmes avec la location d'une voiture chez AVIS, nous ont beaucoup touché. La flexibilité pour les dates d'arrivée et de départ sont un plus! Brigitte.

Wonderful stay with breathtaking view

We had a wonderful stay with fine weather, proper cleaned fully equipped and charming decorated house, nice neighbours and a pool with breathtaking view and sunsets. Very nice were the little welcome gifts. Good place to make hiking trips. We enjoyed most the restaurant Evdemon in Afionas. May be it would be good to give a description to take the road from Acharavi to Episkepsi, because google maps lead us to Trimodi and there is only a footpath to get to Castelli over the mountain. The only negative points were the (nice and friendly) dogs waking us up with their barking every night and many bees and wasps around the poolarea and our outdoor sitting place that made us once flee from the dinner table and one day we didn´t dare to get into the pool. We recommend Castelli Olive Press to our friends and would like to come again. Thank you for everything! Karin and Sigi

Perfect place!

This is the most perfect place to explore the island of Corfu. There was so much detail in the little cottage, everything was brand new and very clean. View on top of the hill is amazing. Pool area is also very nice. Stamatia was a very good host and always replied quickly even though we didn't meet her in person. We would definitely come again.

The view from the house is amazing.. on top of a hill surrounded with olives trees..a very quiet place to enjoy away from the main tourist area. . The house is very comfortable with high standard ... We will recommend the places to our friends and family
