Perfect family getaway

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic week here! The location and surroundings more than live up to the description, the views are stunning. The pool was a major highlight for our boys, as was meeting the horses, and Sarita & Mauro were perfect hosts, always contactable for questions on anything. Nature is all around and there are also plenty of nice towns to visit by car not too far away. We’re already talking about if we can come back next year!

Wir durften 2 Wochen in diesem wundervollen Haus verbringen. Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und wir haben uns direkt willkommen gefühlt.das Haus/Wohnung ist sehr groß, es fehlte an nichts. Begrüßt wurden wir mit Wein, Nudeln und ganz viel mehr, das war ganz zauberhaft. Der Pool ist riesig und der Garten wirklich sehr schön, eine Katze besuchte uns regelmäßig. Ich kann diesen tollen Ort jedem empfehlen, einfach nur schön ❤️

Ruhe ohne Ende

Ein sehr schöner, ruhiger Urlaub. Guter Startpunkt um Ausflüge nach Pisa, Viareggio und vor allem Lucca zu unternehmen. Der Pool und der Weitblick sind der Hammer. Wir haben uns sehr gut erholt.

Nice house with great pool!

We stayed here for two weeks and we have enjoyed every minute of it. The house is very clean and so is the large pool. The surrounding area is stunning. The friendly and helpful owners are living in the same building , but you hardly see or hear them. Dear Sarita and Mauro, we really enjoyed staying in your house, thank you for everything! Beau séjour dans la campagne Toscane

Séjour très agréable dans cette maison bien équipée, disposant d'une très belle vue, notamment de la piscine. Les propriétaires, qui habitent en dessous de la maison, sont donc faciles à joindre tout en étant très discrets. Je recommande sans réserve pour une famille qui, comme la notre, cherchait un pied à terre de qualité permettant de se reposer entre chaque excursion.

Prachtige omgeving

Aardige eigenaars. Prachtig uitzicht, steile en af en toe smalle weg naar dorpje bij tegemoet komend verkeer. Schoonmaak had echt beter gekund. Matras 2 persoonsbed niet zo goed. Koelkast maakt erg veel lawaai als je binnen moet zitten, evenals vaatwasser.. Afzuigkap defect. Eigenaar reageerde erg laat bij wederom activeren electriciteits-storing: deze was veroorzaakt door storm. Prijs-Kwaliteit verhouding vond ik huur te hoog.

What a view!

Wat een uitzicht, wat een kalmte. Heerlijk zwembad! Perfecte rust locatie voor uitstapjes naar andere dorpjes en steden. Als er 1 klein minpuntje was, het wifi signaal was heel zwak waardoor info zoeken voor uitstapjes wat moeilijk gingen.

Es war eine super erholsame Woche!

Die Lage, das Umfeld, die Aussicht, die Einrichtung, der Pool, die netten Vermieter, die Nähe zum nächsten Dorf mit sehr gutem Essen und ausreichend Einkaufsmöglichkeit…alles bestens! Wir würden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Amazing location !

Big and confortable house, clean with everything you may need. Stunning views all around ! The pool is fantasic, kept very clean and also with beautiful views of the surroundings. I feel in love with the sight from the windows of the kitchen. Very quiet and calm environment. Temperature going down in the evening allowing to sleep perfectly without need of air conditioning. The owner were not intrusive but very kind and supportive. They even let my daughter ride their horse twice! We also had the luck to see the RALLY from indie the property. If I have to find a small inconvenient , the wi-fi was a bit slow, but does not affect the 5 star rating of this place!

Sehr empfehlenswert

Die Anfahrt ist mit Navi gar nicht so schwierig, zieht sich von Lucca aus aber ganz schön hin. Tipp: die komplette Strecke kann man vorab schonmal per Google Streetview abfahren. (z.B. ab Ghivizzano, wenn es rechts ab in Richtung Lucignana geht. - Oder natürlich schon früher). Das Anwesen selbst ist leicht zu finden. Man hat eine eigene Einfahrt mit PKW-Stellplatz direkt vor dem Hauseingang. Das gesamte Gründstück ist riesig, und auch wenn die Vermieter "unten" wohnen, darf und sollte man sich überall umsehen. Das Highlight ist natürlich der etwas oberhalb vom Haus gelegene Pool. Aber auch das Haus selbst ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Zimmer sind groß, liebevoll eingerichtet und auch bei fast 40 Grad Außentemperatur angenehm kühl. Die Vermieter sind sehr hilfsbereit, immer freundlich, dabei aber überhaupt nicht aufdringlich. Wer absolute Ruhe und Einsamkeit möchte, kann das hier also auch bekommen. Man sollte jedoch Englisch (oder Italienisch) sprechen können. Wir haben im Sommer 2020 elf Nächte hier verbracht und hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

Geweldig verblijf

Enorm fijne mensen. Zeer mooie en uiterst rustige omgeving. Wij kwamen hier helemaal tot rust. Leuk zwembad en leuke bezienswaardigheden in de “directe” omgeving zoals Pisa, Firenze, Lucca.

Great Property in Stunning Location

The property is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Lots of room if you want to be inside, but you'll probably spend most of your time out. The eating area patio has great views of the valley, if slightly obscured by the property itself. Looking the other way it feels like you might be in a tree house. A short stroll up the hill is the swimming pool with incredible views but at the same time a nice secluded location. Friendly and helpful hosts but not intrusive. So good we've already booked up again for next year!

Ruhig gelegene FeWo/Teilhaus mit sehr netter Vermieterin als "unsichtbare" Nachbarin

Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig oberhalb des kleinen Ortes Lucignana, ca. 25 Autominuten nordöstlich von Lucca. Die erste Anfahrt ist etwas kompliziert, da man sich zunächst nicht vorstellen kann, dass nach dem Örtchen Lucignana - schon schwer genug zu finden und ohne aktuelles Navi im Halbdunkel quasi unmöglich - noch etwas kommt. Hat man das Haus aber erst einmal gefunden und die Anfahrt gemeistert, ist man von Blick, Lage und Ruhe überwältigt. Die geräumige Wohnung entspricht in dem Ausstattungsstil nicht jedermanns Geschmack, verfügt aber über befriedigendes WLAN, Sky-Fernseher, voll ausgestattete Küche mit Icemaker und gemeinsam mit den mit auf dem Grundstück lebenden Eigentümern (ein sehr nettes Ehepaar aus Liverpool) zu nutzende Waschmaschine und Trockner. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind etwas eingeschränkt (Autofahrt zum nächsten echten Supermarkt ca. 20 Minuten (und den zuvor erklommenen Berg wieder runter....)) aber dort findet man alle Dinge des täglichen Durchschnittsbedarfs. Entfernungen nach Viareggio, Lucca,Pisa,Florenz für Tagesausflüge o.k., auch wenn bei 35-40 Grad Celsius im Hochsommer nicht immer ein reinstes Vergnügen. Alles wird aber von dem auf dem Grundstück liegenden großen Swimmingpool mit vier bequemen, typisch italienischen Liegen überstrahlt, die wir zur alleinigen Benutzung hatten und unsere Kinder begeistert haben. Die Eigentümer reinigen den Pool alle 2 Tage gründlich und es ist eine unbeschreibliche Wohltat, dort oben mit Blick über eine wunderschöne toskanische Landschaft zu plantschen.

Stunning views, very peaceful, great pool

Views were exceptional, pool was a great hit with the kids as was the wii fit after a long day sightseeing. So peaceful at all times. House was fine, although Jacuzzi bath did not work during our stay.

Stunning and relaxing holiday

I was there for a week in August with my husband, sister and brother in law, and we had a wonderful time! Everything from the views to the house itself was amazing!! Breath taking surroundings and many places to visit such as small villages as well as Sienna, Lucca, Berga and many more. The house was very well equipped as well as comfortable, the outside area was very nice and had a BBQ. And of course the pool!! it was absolutely amazing with stunning views over the surrounding hills. The hosts were very nice and helpful but at the same time gave us lots of privacy. We will definitely come back in the future.

Very nice property with a pool with a view!

We enjoyed our 2 weeks stay very much! Nice house in the hills, large pool with a marvellous view, very kind owners. Very quiet, warm during the day but cold in the evenings (so not to hot to sleep). An excellent location for daytrips: we went to Lucca, Pisa, Barga, Lido di cammaoire and a little bit further (2hrs drive) Cinque Terre and San Gimignano. We can only recommand it!

A spaces and cool house with excellent beds.

A really nice house with very kind owners who if you want help you and a very nice pool with superb view on the hills and mountains, the kitchen is very compleet and lots of room , the house is very cool and sleeps are perfect and quiet . A car is a must and you need 20 minutes to get too the nearby shop downtown, we had a splendid 2 weeks!
