I was pleasantly surprised a the cleanliness of the room. The bed was very comfy, but needed a couple more pillows!!

We were not able to be there for our planned stay, due to a family crisis. We gifted friends with our game passes and they reimbursed me for the room. They said they were very happy with the room and mentioned that it was very clean and tidy. They enjoyed their stay! 😄👍

Getting what you paid for.
Stayed between 9/1/23 - 9/2/23. Perfect example of getting what you paid for, so I knew from past experience what to expect and wasn't surprised; The front door handle was apparently installed upside down so had to lift up in order to open. Right when I got in the first thing I noticed was how dirty the floors were... half-assedly swept & wasn't mopped. Hair in both shower and sink area. grasshoppers & ants throughout the room. The condition of the property along with the price draws in some questionable characters. The property is in a prime spot to neighboring businesses within Coralville's River Landing area, but being right next to a major road near an interstate exit & a gas station adds to the drawbacks.

Paid ahead of time through Expedia, but they demanded an extra fifty bucks ahead of time for potential damages. I could understand running my card in case of damages, but no, I had to pay. (All interactions with staff were through a glass shield, making it feel like an adult motel.) The room itself was buzzing with flies, the bedding had stains and the nightstand looked like it came from Goodwill. I’ve stayed at this place before and it’s never been anything special, but it was always adequate. Now it feels like there should be a dead hooker in the bed.

This place was disgusting. They were “cleaning” my room when I got there (and I got there late). When I checked the bed, there were hair and stains on the sheets. When I asked them to clean my room the second day of my stay they didn’t give me clean sheets, they just put the same dirty sheets back on my bed. Also when I returned that night, my door was left open.

For the low price, it was a good deal. Solo female traveler, felt safe. Was not expecting anything other than a safe, quiet room and that is what I got. Had an accessable room and the shower was pretty nice, easy to handle. Had a tiny bit of trouble opening the door at first, but once figured it out, it was fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Adequate stay
Accidentally, I booked a smoking room. Checkin person was gracious enough to switch us to a nonsmoking room! Only downside was not being able to use my Firestick because changing inputs on TV was disabled.

The price was much cheaper than the other places to stay near by, but I would not stay here again. While the room was picked up and tidy when we arrived, the condition of the room was very poor. The bathroom was disgusting. The counter in the room was falling apart. The walls are incredibly thin and you can hear everything from any neighbors. The people who service your room (new towels, garbage bags, etc.) were very kind and wonderful! The workers here were all very kind and friendly to us, but the condition of the room was extremely poor.
